Ga. Tech game on at Cowbells....

Normally I would agree. However, in its infinite wisdom, the local cable company does not offer gameplan. Secondly for a bar to get one game on gameplan is very expensive because you pay based on your total occupancy. Therefore if the bar doesn't already have gameplan, it probably won't have the game. I have not called around but I do drink alot in vegas and as far as I know, Cowbells is the only place in the area with gameplan already in place....Sidenote, they also have Sunday Ticket....
at noon this past sunday. But, get this: They were out of crown and all other blended wiskeys. How in the hell does a bar run out of crown?

that's weird in itself. Hell, I didn't know it was possible. But if I was a bar, I'd get satellite for that very reason. It's dumb not to. You have to show all the games you can, it's well worth it.
one of our games last year....maybe the West Virginia game. Could have been the grill....maybe i dreamed it up...
Well the bourbon issue is a problem and not trying to defend, however the bar was open till 2 AM on Friday night after bulldog bash and 3 AM on Saturday night after the game and was completely packed. They ran out, plain and simple. That kind of crowd for 2 nights straight is hard to order for, even after you think you have enough, ordered 3 more cases and still ran out.
We appeared to be watching cable in our booth. And I thought I remember it being DirecTV on the big screen -- although it could have been some other satellite service.
But, they have to have anticipated huge demand. The stuff doesn't go bad, although I am sure the big risk with a bar is that the stuff walks off. The markup on that stuff is huge. And there they are on Sunday, the only day they have an exclusive in all of Starkville, and they have no whiskey. The didn't order enough and you can't get more on a Sunday. However, I have to tell you that I would have risked bringing some over from Rick's and restocked Rick's with a Monday delivery to Cowbells. I know you aren't supposed to do that. But, it's a risk I would have taken. Rick's might have been out as well for all I know.
Can't be long before someone goes through the white fence, through the gate house, or through that entrance thing by old 82.
Went to Cowbells Sunday after the Auburn game. It was the only place we could get in. The place looks awesome, except for ordering food or drinks on a Sunday. They ran out of food, and no one at our table got what they ordered.It took not the first or second, but the 3rd (17ing) time to get things close to right. It was fitting how the weekend went, but disappointed was an understatement. If you go Sunday, get the damn buffet or just order appetizers. Our waiter even came back and said the cook was losing it and the servers were not to take any new orders. Their where a lot of people flowing in ,and we left before chaos broke out. I hope they change their operations quick ,or it may get Croomed!!
But, what I DID do is cast a vote for McCain as the nominee. Very few people you know did that. And I don't mean a vote in the damn primary. </p>
when I pulled up to the Highlands to unload the trailer, and saw the new Cowbell's....I headed straight to the office. It got ugly. You are right about those across the street getting pissed. I warn you, do not park in anyone's driveway or block one. I have heard some tales of bad things happening to cars... and I swear it's not me. The complex will tow and I just don't believe in vandalism. Besides I pay the rent there, but someone else in my family lives there.
