Who were the 2 or 3 OL prospects out of MS that year who were rated ahead of him by Scout and Rivals?

#52 in MS, OT Gabe Jackson
#40 in MS, OT Aubrey Phillips - Committed to Auburn, I think he got hurt
#25 in MS, OG Anthony Steen - Committed to Bama, starter. Not sure about his draft prospects.

I'll let someone else do Rivals.

Rivals has

Phillips at #9
Steen at #16
Emmanuel McCray at #25; Tunsil beat him out during the season
Gabe Jackson #28

Phillips was a 4*, the others were 3.

3 star on scout.

Thing that is impressive about that class is 9 players out of that class are playing or played in the NFL.

Cam Lawrence, Banks, Cox, Boyd, Chris White, McPhee, Bumphis, Slay, and Gabe. I think 5 are starters. I know Gabe hasn't been drafted yet, but it's a foregone conclusion. Pretty good class there.

The thing that is going to hurt Steen is his physical measurables. Short arms. Per a family member of his.

Gabe took Steen's spot. Talked to Anthony in sept and he said croom told him they would love to have him but he offered his last OL spot to Gabe and he was a man of his word.

And all but one (slay) were from mississippi. And you figure Nickoe probably gets a late round look, and Tyler and LDP could possibly get a shot as a FA scout team type role. Stress "possibly" before you jump all over me. Tyler's injuries probably ruined his shot and I don't know what happened to LDP. He was terrible this year. 12 rushes for 5 yards in the egg bowl. Wtf?
