this kid was dynamite and filled the J.Lewis gap when we needed a JL type conversion play. Was thinkin he was more of a DB. Didn't realize he had that kinda speed and instinct.

What's this kids ceiling?

Higher than lewis' for sure. He'd smoke lewis speed wise. Seems to be very shifty too

He is leader and a very tough competitor, pretty much carried Starkville on his back to a state championship his sr. year, both on offense as well as defense. Very coach-able, strong work ethic, high character and a good student. Think his ceiling is extremely high, possible all SEC before he leaves, got three more years after this year.

Myles has a high ceiling. Could be something close to what Harvin was for Mullen.

What I liked out

of him was his strength and toughness. He's able to knock guys over and run through them. See the 3rd down he converted.

They are class acts as a family. His family is highly regarded in the community. I'm pulling very hard for him.

Gabe was a qb in high school.... He was the one that completed the pass to dak. Perfect throw.

In the past, our defense had the weight of the world on their shoulders. Those days are gone. We can play loose and take some chances. If our defense holds teams below 30, we are very difficult to beat

I made the comment in 3rd qtr..

...it feels so odd to think if we can just get the ball back in the hands of our offense we'll be fine.

Will only get better ...

Weapons e'rywhere

And a group of younger guys sure stepped it up a notch this weekend ...

Agree that Gabe definitely looked ready to step in and contribute. Nice 20 yard carry.

Jamoral Graham looked good too except for the drop. Almost broke that punt return too.

Except for another couple right up the middle, Dan finally got Brandon Holloway outside where he needs to run.

Plus, another candidate for the slot for next year is Donald Gray. He has really looked and acted like Percy Harvin this year and will have 3 to play 3 when he arrives in the spring.

Rich man's Jameon is his ceiling I think.

Very similar players to me. Both former QB's. Both probably a little more impressive quickness than top-end speed (although it looks to me like Myles' top end speed is faster). Myles seems to be picking up route running faster than Lewis and Myles seems like he's stronger.

Very odd to be a big fan of an MSU player that's not a RB or LB and to not be worried about who we replace him with when he leaves.

Jameon is great, but our slot guys were so good on Saturday that I had to be reminded that he wasn't on the field. We didn't miss a beat.

That was one of my two biggest takeaways from Saturday.

1) Our WR unit had its best game in years. I'll even forgive Fred Ross for the dropped 86 yard TD.

2) Our secondary isn't bad at all, and our front seven being ridiculous and rushing the QB helps them out even more.
