Gabriel does some stupid stuff...

Wenyen didn't go after the guy and the way the ball bounced just caused the unfortunate little push.

IMO no tech would have been called had all the previous stuff not occurred.

Wenyen did nothing wrong and fans overreacted because of the game flow with the more weak-minded among them worrying about Ole Miss somehow winning ___ which was never going to happen.

After Gabe went to the bench looks like he could see he mess up, but he always plays so hard and had a good game last night hard to fault him for that one thing..

I keep thinking of the UNC game in Vegas where he dropped a wide open alley oop from Monk in a tie game with under two minutes to go. I just don't trust him with the ball or anywhere on the court for that matter with the game on the line. He doesn't understand the game yet. But yes, he hustles his *** off while he's in there so you have to credit him for that.

Wenyen over the summer needs to put up 500 shots a day. Work on lower body strength and work on fundamentals. Run drills where he has two choices, jump straight up with a shot or pass to the wing. Love his activity on D, he isn't getting rooted out under the basket as much. Maybe work on confidence drills.
Liked how in first half Shia, green, and Hami we're looking for him. Running plays for him to score!
All the rumors of his family needs him to graduate we're all lies. He has several siblings ahead of him who have already graduated college. Both parents are stable and employed. Sad that Africa refugees automatically means poor and indigent

He has saved our *** a few times this year with big shots or rebounds stopping runs from the other team...id say he's made up for something that happened nearly a year ago

For all the good WG does/much... Is he someone you want in, in a heated game late? Do you wanna see PJ at the line late in an important game? Richards handling the ball? JV taking a three? A players shortcomings limits their benefit to the team situationally... I've had same thoughts about WG as the OP..... He goes a little off the reservation at times:)

Guy made a hell of a play on him... and yeah... WG didn't like it... But in a tight NCAA game late... That stuff puts you out.

I want him in a heated game. Because he can shoot. He gets rebounds. He's one of the better shot blockers on this team. And although he gets a crappy whistle every time he plays he doesn't let it effect his aggression or waste time complaining to the refs.

So that's an emphatic YES!
