We seriously need an editor before we send out any publication or put graphics up in our facilities. I skimmed this article and found no less than 5 errors.

Who is going to break down USM for us?

I don't know anything about them other than they are teh suck.

Anyone familiar with the team? Strengths/weaknesses/approach/key matchups/etc.?

Hardy Field. We replaced that with Scott Field (originally New Athletic Field)

What freaking imagination we had early on...

can find no information on Hardy Field. looks like we played some early years games at "Starkville Fairgrounds" until 1904. Then Hardy Field until 1914

It says Mullen's conference record is 8-11 at home, 7-14 on the road, and 1-2 at neutral sites. What conference games has Mullen played at a neutral site? Is that counting games at Arkansas at a neutral site because it's not on their campus?

It must be.

Well, that would mean Mullen has coached in 19 home conference games and 24 away conference games, so that can't be it. If all three neutral games were our games, that would put him at 22 home games and 21 away games. That's got to be a screw up the best I can tell. Are we claiming Thursday night games as neutral sites now? I'm stumped as to how we have neutral games in Mullen's conference record.

ETA: I think Mullen should have coached in 40 conference games at this point (5 years, 8 games), so they must be including out of conference games and they must also have a home game included in the away record.

Good info. I'm sure Starkville Fair Grounds was the place to see and be seen. Might name my Tailgate that in the future.

Indeed. Who knew that our expansion was so cheap?

"A $75 renovation and expansion was just completed in the north end zone, adding 8,815 of new
seats, including premium areas."

Damn, that's only 2 cheeseburger logs, an 18 pack of Natty Light, and 2 boxes of cowboy killers away from a whole $100! Couldn't we club members sacrifice a night of debauchery for another 2,000 seats?

This gem of a non sequitur stands out as well:

"Just six years into his tenure, Mullen (36-
28, .563) owns the highest winning percentage
as a coach at State since the late Darrell Royal
in 1954-55 (.600), and he is already fourth in
school history for wins by a MSU head coach
(36). Mullen stands just one victory away from
entering the top four."

And Croom was here 5 years instead of 4

Right?

it makes me sad when Croom is #7 on all time wins. His first 3 seasons were 3 win seasons.

I'm surprised that the media guide doesn't mention that we actually lead the series in the field, but had two wins taken away due to improper benefits to Larry Gillard.

Good point. I don't think I've ever seen a site or article that mentions that FACT. We actually lead the series 14-12-1 (on field)..but wtf..let 'em have it
