I just wanted to see what others thought but I thought that this past game was was probably the best I've seen at State with regards to the music being played and some of the Jumbotron (or whatever you want to call it) interaction with the sound. I'm sure leading/winning helped everyone's attitude but I thought a nice mix of stuff that was not repetitive.

I thought last night had a great music selection. The players seem to like it more, as some of them were dancing around on the sideline. The student section gets rowdier.

If we had the atmosphere, the Jumbotron, the expansion, the Junction, etc. back during the good years with Jackie it would have been interesting to see what recruits would have come to play at State. Looking back we did not have much to offer a recruit considering LSU or Alabama.

I've been in the upper the deck the first two home games and it was loud up there, but you can't really tell how loud it really is up there. This game I sat in the lower deck and I would compare it to the atmosphere at the Florida game last year. Very impressive, and there will be a cowbell ban next year.

and I'm saying this with a straight face- we do a better job on gameday than they did. I'm not saying that we're louder- I'm saying that we do a better job with our music and gameday video. The Jumbotron- or whatever you want to call it- was the best investment that we ever made. When we got it, I wondered why we were getting a jumbotron that big. But now, I see that it was a stroke of genious by Greg Byrne. Seriously, our environment is probably the most fun in the SEC. And I've been everywhere except for Fayetteville.

From the tailgating in The Junction, which is as good as any tailgate anywhere else in the SEC, to the way we use our scoreboard with the stuff during timeouts, to the music. It's just great.

My boss is a Georgia fan went to the game. She laughed when I told her how small our stadium is. But like I told her, it may be small, but we fill it up, and we get loud, and it's a hell hole for an opposing team. I bet she believes me now.

- you didn't like hearing Lenny Kravitz sing "American Woman" at every time out?<div>
</div><div>Or "Welcome to the Jungle" about a dozen times?</div>

Between Jackie loading up on JUCO's and Croom going after character and his friend's kids, I don't think it would have mattered much.

We have yet to play Justin Beiber or Miley Cyrus in the stadium.

AA - srsly, LSU?

Finally started to scroll through scores instead of showing 4 games for 2 mins.<div>
</div><div>They still haven't figured out how to show any stats during the game, but if that is my biggest complaint, things are going pretty good.</div><div>
</div><div>For the Upper Deck folks- has the sound changed at all? We still can't hear much in the student section</div>

I'd like to see scores during most timeouts. I think we only got scores a couple of times.

Stats would be good during timeouts too.

I think <span style="text-decoration: line-through;">1/2</span> 90% of the problem here is that jumbotron time during timeouts is busy showing ad$.

I'd suggest maybe the 13" TV in the south endzone could show some scores and stats, but I think it doesn't have enough resolution to display readable text.

Maron....Whit..... My how things have changed for the better. I still shake my head in disbelief (as I did that day years ago) when I think about how pitiful our gameday atmosphere was compared to now. Just unspeakable.

And wow!

The game atmosphere is completely changed. The tailgating crowds were exceptional, and it seems like Starkville has -finally- really embraced the university and started trying to do things to help out. We seem like a solid SEC football school with an experience to match the other schools.

I was amazed at how different and fun everything was. Of course, the one thing that hasn't changed is our innate pessimism as fans whenever we throw a pass.... but I think that will take decades to fix :)

in the last two years. The Jumbotron, Mullen, better offense, etc. I sat next to Georgia alums who made their first trip to Starkville and they were very impressed. They said they attended the Bulldog Bash and had a blast. They said that they talked to their daughter, who is a hs senior, and they want her to look at going to State. They said they loved the campus, evryone had been super nice, we have 17,000 less students and it is only a 5.5 hr drive from Atlanta. If we can start winning consistantly and expand the stadium, we could get to where we only dreamed about being for a long time.

I have sat near the jumbotron - can't hear any words spoken.

Sat on the 40 - could hear perfectly fine.
