pope built a defensive team but cant coach defense. guys dont know what they are doing 6 games into the season and that includes scouting the opponent.
At least Noah is playing hard. This lineup has looked more together at least. If they played like this all game they could win a few games at least. Why did it take 15 minutes of game time to do it?

Yeah he should be like our 4th best player. If we can have a lineup that does that next year with his improvement we would actually be what this group was projected to be.

One thing I like about a combination of Chandler, Noah and Moreno out there is they play hard.

I would like him to show up against better caliber competition too. Let's see if that is possible. Hopefully this game will wake him up

Probably did. Was a double screen. Chandler felt for the first screen. Probably thought it was the only one coming. If not, Moreno didn’t call or was too far away for him to hear.
I agree with this a lot but we still have nobody to break a defense down and the defensive issues, we would be down 20 again to a good team.

Even though we playing poorly these refs suck. Not calling stuff at TT end is driving me nuts. So many moving screens and carrying the ball while dribbling. NCAA has made a travesty of the rule book.
Nice turnaround. We will win. But it's going to be hard for me to give this performance as anything above a C-grade.. and even that, there's still work to do. You just can't lose a quarter to such a low ranked team and look so sloppy and uninterested doing it. And winning by 25-30 doesn't erase everything.
