if his players are giving 100% right now, then well, he just has to go, because if this product is anywhere close to his expectation then this won’t work.

13 minutes of a 40 minute game and we did not score. I haven’t been watching or paying much attention this year, this looked like Cal ball.
I’m an optimist and not a doom and gloom guy but that’s an inexcusable loss IMO. Lead most the game and just gave it away. Play with effort and run an offense in the second half and we win by 10+ but instead Pope made no changes and allowed our guys to play “Me” ball and not “team” ball. It’s an expectation that he clearly hasn’t set.
any decent team buries UNC in the middle of the second half, they were begging us to go up 12-15 points. our players and coaching staff are literally incapable, the worst team I've seen. worse than '21 or '13.
How many touches did Oweh get in those 10 mins? How many sets rather than action were run? Need to be intentional about getting the right dudes shots when dry spells happen. Then again, also need the right dudes on the floor to take the shots.

I knew we were losing this game days ago. This team doesn’t have it. They don’t like one another. They don’t play well together. I don’t give a **** if Lowe, Mo, or JQ play, doesn’t matter.

100%. We have no playmakers. Our drivers refuse to pass and our shooters can’t drive. Bad combo. Too much “me ball” from a couple guys. Aberdeen never saw a shot he didn’t like. Jelly played great in the post but will not swing the ball around the perimeter for a better shot when he can jack one up. Oweh still doesn’t pass, ever. We go 8 minutes and don’t let CC try to drive one on one. Team has no identity.

No I really dont understand it Jasper tries to play very cerebral yeah he has taken some quick shots in some games but they are shots he can hit he doesnt do all the wild *** **** Aberdeen does and he is very good in the pick and roll. He actually plays solid d as well if you watch

This roster is poorly constructed. He looked at some weird numbers to justify each guy he brought in, then doubled down and failed to coach these guys. This is a disaster starring us in the face.

Jasper is being missed used. He's an offensive guy. He plays better with Moreno. I just don't see why Pope won't let him give the green light for 5 minutes and see what happens. However, it seems he can't play against good competition yet.
