Louisville is playing an overtime game for the first time in 10 years

Virginia played in overtime just 8 days ago.

Miller Miss sure is looking at that play on his arm awful long. I hope it is one he is used to.

Going to take a huge effort here from the defense to hold on

really needed our offense to come out and set the tone with a TD

Virginia wins on a direct snap TD to J'Mari Taylor in OT. FINAL — 30-27, UVA The little things killed what should have been a win for Louisville.

I don’t like this Cards team, sorry. They’re not a very enjoyable bunch to watch play

Bell, Lacy, Quinn, Bailey, Lubin are the only redeeming qualities here

Isaac and Duke are getting shafted with injuries and a neglected OL unit so not really their fault, but the running game as a whole has been insanely disappointing this year given the talent and expectations

I do not like Miller Moss. He's the master of bad decisions.

These West Coast honky one and done QBs are not the building blocks for a great program.

wo overtime possessions, two stories.

UVA ran the ball up the middle in short yardage near the goal line.

Louisville passed out of the backfield to a RB.

You have to run the football effectively in conference play, and Louisville hasn't done so in back-to-back weeks.

They had under 200 yards of offense and scored 10 offensive points in regulation. We lose in OT

our offense is a total liability. Bell is all world and everything else is held together with duct tape

He makes some nice plays, but nothing amazing and nothing that overcomes the bad plays. His decision making is awful and his arm talent is above average

Jeff needs to find us a QB with at least 2 years of eligibility, preferably one who can also run, not another big money one year West Coast rental.

I often wonder if Lamar would've played (much less started as a freshman) with Brohm as HC. Lamar did not fit the mold of Brohm's prototypical QB at all.

After 10 years of excellent to GOAT Black QBs, I am not a fan of these whites. While we've had some excellent white QBs, the last one we had was Brian which seems like forever ago.

It’s not a racial thing and let’s not turn it into one. We can all point to certain plays in the game that cost us. To me the difference in the game was the offensive play calling in the 3rd quarter. It made no sense to me at all we went away from what was working. Bell never touched the ball in the third quarter and there is no excuse for that.

While I agree that a steady starter for more than 1 year would be nice, Shough had a great year in 2024. As for you determining QB ability based only on race, you sound like a hostage of ignorance.

Brown and Watson being injured will(hopefully) get better. The only unfixable issue I see with this team is the O-Line. Last year, O-line was pretty good and dominated teams like Clemson and UK. I thought this year's O-line would be good, but they are not. I don't think the RBs getting stuffed at or behind the line are injury issues and Moss has too many defenders in his face.

It's not "over" for this team. If Watson and Brown can get healthy(and stop dropping footballs), our boys will be ok. I know Moss has made some bad decisions, but he isn't "done" at this point.

How about just last year

Shough is/was a better QB than Brian… it’s true

I don't mean to turn it into a racist thing. For the record, I am white.

The last great white QB we had was BB and the game has changed a lot since then. Shough had a good year but had some not so good games (Stanford [cough]). Shough got us a crap bowl in El Paso and opted out of playing, a wuss move. Brian got us to the Orange Bowl and played. (Side rant: Players who opt out of bowl games rankle me. They should either play or give back 1/13th or more of their NIL $$$.)

If something isn't working which it definitely isn't with Moss, Brohm needs to take a long hard look at playing our backup QBs and not renting another one and done protypical QB for next season.

We aren't going to keep or develop any high school QB recruits ever if they're sitting on the bench year after year while we have the revolving door of one year QB rentals.

I vote to give Allen and Adams some playing time and let Moss ride the bench for several minutes to a quarter after he makes his next bone-headed play which I predict will likely happen early in our next game.

The Miami game will be a thorough *** kicking if CJB and BB don't make major offensive changes.

Our tiny running backs don’t help much in pass protection and blitzers are getting home. Miss is good with a clean pocket but doesn’t have great pocket awareness and doesn’t know how to throw the ball away. Our right tackle is a joke.

They are the same running backs that were picking up blitzes last season. Moss is no Shough, but unless the running game can get going we can't expect him to just "deal with it". I agree, RT and the O-Line is the biggest liability.
