If EMCC wins, they're obviously playing in the championship bowl game. Do you think Jones can make the leap to second place and to that same bowl if the Bobcats pull off the road win?
Don't know enough about the inner workings. I know EMCC would play Ga. Military in Biloxi if they beat Jones. Pretty sure Jones would have to travel....
Trying to determine if this would be the first national championship at the juco or college level played on Mississippi soil. Help, anyone?
Not much help but the East Bowl, if I recall correctly, had alternate hosts from Mississippi and eastern community colleges in the 1980s. I know Jones beat Harford in Ellisville in '83. Northwest and Gulf Coast were national champs in '82 and '84, respectively, and also won East Bowl games. You may want to confirm locations though.
