The guy in that video is the typical know it all fan. I mean really, what did people expect?

The foreshadowing was all there, he's just not smart enough to see it. They just didn't have enough time. Think you could do better? Any other ending would have been corny and lame.

You'd think fans would have learned that happy endings aren't what this show was about.

Terrible take.

You actually probably didn't watch the video. Why don't you tell us this foreshadowing? Or are you just focused on Dany?

Any other ending will be corny and lame? Oh...so perfect ending. Roflmao

You said happy ending isn't what the show was about....the ****? Most are complaining it is happy ending. Roflmao. What wasn't happy about the ending?

Let me try to explain this to you WildMoon.

The foreshadowing of Dany going mad was flawlessly executed. Did you notice they did that? If not it's ok, but to critique a writer's work, you have to understand foreshadowing and what that means.

Benioff and Weiss are professional writers, which means they are great at what they do, just like me. You questioning their decision making in the writing is like a janitor at an elite school questioning a brilliant math professor's work, kind of like in Good Will Hunting if Matt Damon was actually mentally handicapped the whole time in reality but the movie was written from his own internal dialogue where he boned Minnie Driver but it was really a waifu pillow.

Sometimes you have to have faith. Let things simmer a little bit. I guarantee when you look back on this show in five years, you're going to realize that they knew what was best....they knew exactly how to end this show...the right way. It was the only way based on the excellent foreshadowing.

Wasn’t long ago that fans complained episodes were too slow...

I always hated the show before I binge watched it.. then I realized it wasn't the show I disliked, it was the fans.

^ Exactly, just absolutely intolerable people. If you have a problem with the last season and the way the show ended, I suggest you bone up on your foreshadowing and butt chug some bleach.

swing miss swing miss swing miss.

I probably should be less smart *** and be more direct. Your emphasis on foreshadowing from that video suggest you didn't watch it at all. Your emphasis on the ending and Dany going mad wasn't really the point the video was making (or even emphasized)...

and you went to call him "know it all" but the one that's acting like "know it all" is you. Hilarious you keep trying tho. Am interested how long you will continue.

and people expected much better. That's what people expected...

It’s cute that meatwad is using his chuck lorre screen name to defend Douche&evenbiggerDouche. If you are defending season 8 you’re an idiot or a troll. The amount of mistakes and pure lazy writing exceeds the entire first 7 seasons combined.

Don’t believe me? Just watch this video....

If you guys think it's just book nerds that are upset, you're wrong.

My wife has been obsessed with GOT from day 1, but didn't read any of the books. She told me yesterday that she doesn't even want to discuss the show anymore because she's so upset with the last 3 episodes.

I have read all the books, but I'm not even close to as mad as she is. She's fooking pissed at what they did to her favorite show.

And we've had ome guy on here talk about "the prince that was promised" after literally every episode this season. We get it bro...the show strayed from the books

I don't care they strayed from the books. I cared they left out the central premise that tied the story together. Without it, jobs heritage and resurrection was basically worthless. So was the red woman (who knows what happened to the other red woman). Etc

Most of their changes were actually pretty good. I hated lady stoneheart. Glad they left her out. Glad they didn't leave the hound dead.

As I’ve thought about it, I like the ending more.
In the very first episode Ned executes the deserter from the Night Watch. Jon is there and he questions Ned about why.
His father doesn’t want to, but he must because it’s his duty. Which ties in perfectly with Jon killing Dany. He didn’t want to, it broke him.
In the end, Jon was the only selfless person, everyone was playing the game but him, even Bran. Those he trusted used him to gain what that wanted.
That’s why he continued to question if he did the right thing, even his sisters got what they wanted, Tyrion was hand, Bran was King, Sam was maester. Jon lost everything and was banished.

So they rushed GOT so they could work on Star Wars, but f'd up GOT so badly that they were removed from Star Wars. Nice play.

Those interview minutes btw....oh boy. Glad to know they will be forever remembered for being the worst TV writers / runners of all time.

As @Chuck Lorre would say, ‘what do you expect?’.

it was all there, the foreshadowing... everything.
