Speaking of black. My Directv guide is now black and in HD as of this morning. Looks good and has faster scrolling.

Theirs was changed like that earlier in that week... Which was around Dec 15th. Of course inMS we're always behind. I guess better late than never.

One negative from the DVR: the opaque black scroll bar at the bottom will block out the "crawl" at the bottom of ESPN/CNN type channels. Makes it tough to check up on scores at times<div>#firstworldproblems</div>

I hooked up all my DVR boxes to my router this weekend and had them activate the whole home. Being able to watch all my stuff on the office dvr on living room tv makes my life easier. Wife gets testy when I fill up her DVR with man shows.
