Curious to hear about the Kings Fork at Nansmond River game.
Most of the scores are very low tonight. I wonder if many of the games were sloppy like Mike said the Hermitage-Varina game was?

I'm sure knocking the rust off after a long break from play. Some teams didn't condition or lift consistently.
No King's Fork / Nansemond River game tonight. The Suffolk schools (also including Class 3 Lakeland) are only playing against each other beginning in March and won't be competing for the VHSL's postseason. Instead they will be playing for the Suffolk City Championship.

Suffolk announced the Fall Sports Bubble the first week of February. We posted about it on our VIP Board then and I've attached the release from SPS Superintendent Dr. John Gordon (former Head Basketball Coach at Meadowbrook by the way).
Interesting, are there any other areas not participating in the VHSL playoffs? As far as I know all others on the Peninsula snd Southside are playing 6 games and are competing to be in 4 team playoffs.

Wasn’t even that close. 35-0 first qtr. 42-0 half. Subs played second half.
That's a good graphic Matt. Thanks. It's understandable why more smaller schools opted out, but your graphic really illustrates that.
