If I was Pope I would tell Garrison he isn’t allowed any layups. He shoots in the paint and he sits. The other team would never expect it if they have watched any footage so it would probably work well for us and might finally reach him that passing the ball is okay.

The thing I'm most disappointed in with this Kentucky team is how utterly lackadaisical they are at times.

Garbage passes easily picked off by trash teams, not dunking, not fighting for 50-50 balls, not going after rebounds, falling away versus fighting through contact, loose ball-handling in the paint...

I just don't know if that's stuff Pope can hammer out of these guys. The guys might just be what they are at this point in their careers.

That said, I'm happy with what will (hopefully) be a win. We're letting a ****** Colgate team creep back in right now, so who f-n knows?

On to an even crappier team Saturday. Hopefully we give a damn when we play them.

It's just frustrating that we can compete with the best and continue to play down to our opponents.

Anyway, go Cats!

Oweh just needs to stop shooting 3's.

Opponents aren't even guarding him out there anymore and he still misses them.

Ugly, ugly, win. Looked like they were just going through the motions tonight. Would like to see some emotion out of Pope on some of this unacceptable stuff just to let guys know it’s unacceptable but it’s a win I guess and move on.
On a side note how is Perry the all time leading High-school scorer?

We have no PG, pretenders don’t beat 2 top 5 caliber teams. We have got to stop over reacting every bad stretch of play. It happens.
And this, Foxy is why I quit posting as much in game threads
Yes we played horribly tonight …if we win as a team we lose as a team. That includes the coaching staff. It does happen
But no, I am not feeling any kind of Calipari flashback
It’s just a really bad game..one sandwiched between an emotional and thrilling win on the road against Gonzaga and an upcoming one against what is arguably our biggest rival.
I’d have liked to see a full on blow out but..never doubted we’d win. That’s a nice change
