Nerves. Even experienced teams get the to some degree. Pressure is a hell of a thing. That's why these early tourneys are good imo. And why it drove me up the wall we didn't do them with Cal.

It's a nice way to get guys used to a tourney atmosphere against quality opponents! And I'd much rather watch us duke it out with a big name school instead of one I couldn't find on a map.

That’s the same exact call that UNC got called a block earlier and got FTs, be consistent, if your gonna call it a block for one team call it a block for both
It's also good for the pressure. You get that tourney feel without it being the end of your season.
