Northwestern (11-3, 2-1 Big Ten) hits the road to play Indiana (10-4, 1-2 Big Ten) at Assembly Hall at 11 a.m. The game will air on FS1.

Northwestern comes into this game after a huge 13-point win over rival Illinois on Wednesday, and is 6-1 in their last seven. Indiana is looking to bounce back after a two-point loss at Iowa on Thursday. The Hoosiers are 3-4 in their last seven, albeit with a pair of losses to non-conference blue bloods Kansas and Arizona.

Indiana will also be without two starters. Point guard Xavier Johnson has been out since December. Race Thompson just got hurt on Thursday night against Iowa and is out “indefinitely.”

This would make it two years in a row NU faced a depleted IU team. Last year they were missing five players, I believe it was, after Mike Woodson suspended them.

The table is set for another important win by the Cats. Let's get it done, boys.

Hope CC is OK: big Matt was not subbed at the first media timeout. Maybe he’ll go to the bench when TJD himself sits?

That 3 from Barnhizer is an example of how poor the help positioning of the Hoosiers has been. And how much Audige has, smartly, feasted on it. How many times has he set up the open Berry 3?

Best shooting game of the season so far. Let's keep it up! Defense is solid as usual.

For all of our critiques of Underwood, I think Collins just threw a similar air punch screaming at the refs (I think)

That block of Berry's layup looked like a goal trend.

Great timeout.

They have to cleanup the double on Hickson. Rpoer is only one that played the backside correctly.

Have to make layups. Missing a lot of open ones.

Nice to see them competing. They are a auto win anymore

They’re not playing it in every possession, but I believe the zone they’ve used a few times is the first we’ve faced it this season.

This is the first game that I can't get on Tube TV. anyone know why?
Missed most of the first half cause I thought I could catch up during the commercials.

We’ll see if our guys can tough this out. Shots won’t fall as easily in the second half. A fun game to watch.

Hope we stay focused on offense. We scored 34 in the first 11:30, 7 in the final 8:30.

I love how Nicholson is playing within his own capabilities. Good defense, good boxing out, and getting in the right place to catch passes for dunks. Hard not to be intimidated by TJD, but he’s holding his own.

I've enjoyed watching him this year, and he dunks a lot, but boy does he need to just go up strong for every shot he takes. Even layups for him aren't gimmes.

Speaking of Layups. I've watched every game this year and it seems like NU is missing an unusual number of layups and put backs. Am I right or is it just my frustration at not getting what look like they should be easy points?

Seems like this has been a problem for a long time, but just today it's been unpleasant (layup-wise, only - the rest has been great!).

Really pleased with the fast pace we're opening the 2nd half with.
Still seems like they miss a lot of layups. OTOH, seems like they are drawing a lot more fouls which pays off in free throws and foul trouble toward the end of the game.
