UCONN with a massive 6 pt lead over Sacred Heart towards the end of the first half.

These dudes that shunned Kentucky's head coaching job - it will be funny to see them (and Cal) flop while Pope blows up.

I'm not wanting to watch the Arkansas game, but will probably watch the Arkansas game....not for Cal, but to see just to reconfirm his horrible offensive "scheme".

I definitely think UCONN takes a step back. They have lost a lot of talent over the past 2 years. They will still be tough and you never know how they will develop, but I can’t see them dominating again this year as easily.

Rutgers is also playing I may check out the 2 stud freshman. Pikiell has made them into a decent team with limited talent the past couple years.

Yup agreed on that. Karaban is the one that makes the engine go for them. Just game plan to take him away and let the others beat you.

Quick 8-0 run to end the half. Probably coast now. They still play great defense and run their offense very well. I’ll wait to see them against equal talent before making any predictions but the talent is definitely down a little.

The big worry for a lot of Uconn fans was losing Donovan Clingan. He could defend, was mobile and fit their offense perfectly. They've had great guard play the last few years, but he might have been the secret ingredient.
No doubt, he was very dominant and a perfect piece for those squads. He covered up any defensive lapses they had on the perimeter. You don’t easily replace a guy like that. New talent comes but they won’t be at his level early on.

I just watched about 4 game minutes of Arky. Man I cannot even watch that crap with him on another bench. He coaches (along with Tony Bennett) the most boring style of basketball. T Bennett could at least run plays out of his and could coach a defense.

I hate it for Arky fans. You got the guy you wanted, you got the kids you wanted, and now you see the problem.

O for seven from three. They can't shoot.
All they can do is take it to the basket
or
try to take it to the basket on transition opportunities.
They don't seem to be using Aidoo much.
