I’m kind of surprised at the thug ball from Georgia State, Hayes and his brother were very good players at Georgia and neither of them were thugs. I guess they thought that was the only way they could win. I’m proud of the way we responded, the crowd let them having it too.

I found this...can't find the record. But this is excerpt from Arkansas game last season (March, the irony of that).

"It was the first time that Kentucky had seven double-figure scorers since Feb. 19, 2005 in a win against Mississippi State. Randolph Morris led the Cats in scoring that night with 17 points. Saturday’s game marked just the sixth time in school history that Kentucky has had seven double-figure scorers in a game."
The game we scored 143 against Georgia would be the one to look up for how many players had double figures.

Had only six with double figures that game. Had 11 with eight points or more.

They watched footage of our last game and saw the refs let WKU do literally anything they wanted and refused to call a foul. I can’t blame them for trying the same strategy. I blame the ref crew. It has to stop. Someone is going to be injured because of that nonsense.

A win is a win. I'm ready to get all the cheese ball games over so our guys can play with more motivation. It took Georgia St dirty play to light a fire.

I say the offense worked how it’s supposed to… when we’re not making 3s we beat them inside the arc.

On the season we take 44% of our shots from 3 point range and make 40% (.399) and we shoot 58% (.585) inside the arc. That means a 3 point shot is more efficient than a 2 point shot (1.197 vs 1.170 points per attempt)

Tonight the 3 point shooting is off 7/26 (26.9%) but we shot over 80% (33/41 .805) from 2 point range. Tonight a 2 point shot is worth 1.61 points per attempt vs .807 points per 3 point attempt.

Just a minor gripe, but can our players ditch the rainbow shoes? Our colors are not Orange, Yellow, Red, Green etc.

Unless it’s breast cancer awareness, which is a different matter
