Best half of basketball I seen in damn long time. If They're 85% of this all year ...we're going to be just fine!
Im excited after that showing. Yessir I am.
Kentucky Wesleyan couldn't score. They would have scored on last year's team
They might be leading at half with Wagner and Edwards 2-15 in the first half. Cal talks about how to get those guys going in the second half. Blames Shepherd for making shots.

It’s so awesome. So fun. But I was at Clyde’s first showings and we hammered some miss valley st. But still. This doesn’t suck
BCG coaches a completely different style, but we never have had as many good shooters as this year.

Didn’t get to watch, can somebody give me a spark notes of the first half?

1. Active hands on defense
2. Oweh is big, strong and fast
3. Butler is making them start the offense 30 feet out
4. If you’re open, Williams will find you
5. Chandler and Almonor are going to be solid bench pieces
6. Jaxson Robinson has a nice shot from 3
7. Team plays hard and fast
8. Only a handful of defensive lapses

Butler was everything he was hyped up to be on defense. Oweh is very effective at getting to the rim and scoring and also very active on defense and rebounding. Makes sense why both started. Brea has been hitting some deep threes too. Carr hasn't gone off like in the BW game but still an obvious player. Robinson has been hitting his 3s.

Scoring really wasn't the issue. It was defense and just mind numbing lineup choices.
We were never going to be a good defensive team, we needed to outscore teams. He tried so much to fix the defense in ways that were never going to work he killed the offensive mojo we had. Try to win 100-95 and if you lose you lose, that was the hope that team had.

They would have given up 50 and been up 10 at halftime.

Such a contrast to what we've been fed the last couple of years, feels great watching. Garrison had to go poop I believe

I have tears in my eyes. Reminds me so much of Pitino days. Love this team already. Don’t care about the competition. Such a different look than the previous fraud, it’s unreal. Ky basketball the way it should be.
It really did feel like I was watching the Pitino’s Bombinos.

I like what I see so far. Our guy’s playing straight up defense , sharing the ball . Still to work on shot fakes , especially the bigs , and back door cuts and boxing out so we grab more rebounds.
This team already plays better conceptually defense and offense than last year team.

Not really, the year before that we started out the Bahamas 108, 102, 118. The problem was lineups, style of play, and inability to change.

If you can't see a change in the offense then that's on you. I realize Kentucky scored over a hundred in a lot of exhibition games under the previous regime but that was due to talent and not the offense being spread like this. I'll make a bet with you that this team averages more points than 8 out of 10 of the last teams
