SEC book on UK...play physical with them and UK will back down. Not liking Williams and Jackson's body language. On that one basket Garrison literally backed totally away from GA's big.
That was the Somto dunk. If I was Pope I would have blown my top, and immediately yanked him.

Carr didn’t miss that, he was smacked on the back of the hand. Easy foul. Not there though.

I’ve seen enough of this garbage. ********.
He was fouled and it was BS. But if we would go up strong and hard for the dunk he would have still made it. Our bigs need to play like Cyri
That missed call and the missed moving screen that knocked Perry to the floor is a 4 point zebra swing.
Yeah the refs are terrible.....again.

The one thing we could always count on for past Kentucky teams that would always win a road game or two that they were not supposed to win like at Auburn or at Tennessee. I wonder if this team will have that in them this year.

Robinson was our most prized transfer - he has been pretty bad for a while now last game he was fine but he lacks any type of passion. Perry looking more poised than him says a lot.
I just don’t think he has the mental makeup for being in a big environment. I think he knows it and took advantage of the NIL cause he knows he won’t compete fora spot in the NBA.

If this were pre NIL days, he likely would have stayed at a school with low expectations and out of the spotlight.

If I were pope, I would tell them to start the second half pushing hand checking and grabbing on every single possession make them call it on us. If they want to farce of a game let’s give it to them

SEC on the road. We will be lucky to win a road game this year.

And that’s not being negative toward us, everybody is going to struggle on the road.

Look at UT at UF. The Vols have 15 points at the half.

Auburn may be the exception. They will win the league, because I think they can win on the road.
That’s against a top 10 team. We’re getting punked by Georgia lmao

Road games have nothing to do with effort. This team has given very little effort tonight and seems to only get up for big games.
That is on the coaching staff. Pope has to have them ready every night in this league.

pope not really playing good lineups ?
He’s had some really trash lineups out there tonight. Granted foul trouble forced his hand a LITTLE, but sheesh. At one point he had Garrison, Chandler, and Almonor on the floor together. Goodness. Those three could struggle in the OVC.

In the second half of the Florida game, this team was in the face of the conference best guard tandem which made them have to play hard to score. Tonight it is acting like they have no idea how to guard anyone.

The first half they beat us in almost every single offensive stat you can conjure up. The only difference being blocks.

Contact with the hand on the ball is not a foul. Wrist yes, hand on ball no.

Is that an NCAA thing? My understanding is that intentional contact with hand by defender while offense has hand on ball is a foul.

Incidental contact like a loose ball, etc isn't.

Yeah, SEC officiating is such garbage! I rewatched the Florida game the other night. I counted NINETEEN very suspect free throws Florida got in the second half alone! About fifteen were absolutely egregious! Unbelievable!

Get this one close. If we lose, lose by a bucket or two. Getting blown out, again, would be discouraging.

I don't mind road losses that much as long as we don't get blown out

We basically did against Gonzaga so they are certainly capable .
