No it wasn't just fans...all the sports publications overhyped this team as well.....they didn't deserve to be ranked at the start of the year after all they lost. Sellers is the main reason people liked this team and as you see without him this team isn't much to look at.

Wouldnt be shocked if Sellers AND Stewart leave for Miami in 2026. They’ll need a QB, they have the NIL $$, a favorable schedule to manage workload, and a more consistent coaching staff it seems

This game was bad on all levels. The O-line, D-line was pushed around all night. The LB's were non existent, 5 tackles combined from JayR and Murphy. I thought the secondary would be a strength but they were getting beat all night long. The only bright spot on this beat down was the young receivers. This was one of the 6 wins we needed to make a bowl, don't think that will happen. When does hockey start???

I agree.
The only thing we have to realize is this is a Vandy team full of 5-7 year players. It doesn't make the loss less painful, but it means Vandy will be back to a 3 win team next year.
I believe we will get better as the year progresses but who knows for sure?

Unless Georgia winds up being in our "pod", I don't see why we should regard them one way or another. They aren't our rival, after all. We don't have ANY rival in the SEC.

I might not live to see next year. Lots of other people might not, either. On top of that, it might not work out that way.
