Barker rushed it cause the time had been drained too much! He wanted to make sure we had at least FG out of it.

Big drive to end the half...killed a ton of clock and go back up 3 scores.

To me....I don't see an answer out of Barker at all. He has less arm talent than Towles, probably not as good a runner and his field vision/pocket presence isn't any better than Towles. UK has two 4 star QB and neither are getting coached up to that level so far on the field

Stoops has a loser mentality. He's happy with last drive and 3 pts when for all intents and purposes it should have been td. Play to win coach! Don't be satisfied!

I think Stoops made sure to say if you don't see anyone open with 6 seconds or so just throw it away.

Barker will be ok. I think people forget that he's still a freshman. He did miss a td there but overall he's played well enough.

Congrats guys. It should be even worse than it already is so I'm just thankful it's not 31 or 38-7. You guys came prepared to play and it shows. I think it's time for Louisville to think about the direction of this football program and if this coaching staff is worth it.

He's also a redshirt freshmen and playing as well as Towles has been. Give me a break. Barker has zero turnovers. Towles has had an interception in every game he's played this year. Such a miserable portion of our fanbase. We're up 24-7 and playing possibly our best game of the year and this is the crap we're hearing.

Pretty happy with the half

Happy with the score but we had a chance to really bury them in the 1st half.

1- The Horton fumble would have likely lead to points.
2- The shank punt possession where we started at the 25 and didn't get any points
3- Settled for a FG right before half when we had 2 guys wide open for a TD.

You are kidding, right?

No he is absolutely correct. I'm sure Barker was told about the little time left and he had to make a play or throw it away. Call time out with about 15 seconds and you don't even have to mention it to Barker and he gets the TD. Stoops clearly outsmarted himself. No need
to run the clock down that close. Once again shows how inexperienced he is at game management. We still hope he will learn from these situations. Cats have the game by the throat with a stop on UL's first second half possession. BTW, Badet should have gone toward the endline once in the open so he could have been more easily seen.

I still feel like Barker is way more composed than Towels. He just missed Badet because of inexperience and Stoops didn't put him in a good clock situation.

Give Barker about 10 more games behind our o-line against teams like Florida, Alabama and Tennessee (with Shannon Dawson calling plays) and see how composed he is

This coaching staff is laughably inept. They played for the field goal when they could have stepped on the throat.
In what way? We took a TO with 10 seconds left on 3rd down. When was the last time a play from the 3 took 10 seconds? You guys criticizing the players and coaches are such morons.

Overall good half. More than I could ask for. Only one to in the half. Barker will get better. So far I'm okay with him.

Upside is that he has started 2 games to Towles two seasons. If both are even then I'll take the one that has the most potential to make improvement.

Just a terrible take. You guys search high and low for things to whine about.
