No need to move Frazier there with 0 outs. Our 3-5 will get him home. Great first inning; we will need Rea all year.

I know Pirtle can't hit, but damn that was pretty. Dude can flash some leather.

Hopefully Pirtle can keep putting it in play. I hate ****ing Hendo there. We still need big innings right now. I'm never comfortable against teams with weapons like LSU. Graveman is dealing though. If he's on he's 17ing on.

Pirtle is starting to look better at the plate IMO. He's obviously got a little power as well -- and has been pretty good at putting the ball in play.

ETA: Yes, he's starting to look much better. That's 3 straight hits for him(and a perfect execution on hit and run is f'n refreshing to see).

Pirtle now has 3 straight hits and playing some defense. We may have found our 2b. Can't believe Frazier didnt deliver

If he gets it together at the plate

That would REALLY help out the lineup. 2b is easily our biggest question mark. I didn't get to watch last night, but how was Detz at third? I know he had an error on the slow roller, but those are difficult.

Bradford did though. Pirtle could really help us alot if he gets going.

Should be interesting to see how quickly we see Detz in for Porter now that the righty is in...

Yup but what do you do about Norris Pirtle and Detz at 3B and DH. This is why I hate giving up outs. Multiple runners on for the top of our order. SBs and HaRs are tools too that we haven't been using. Big innings come when you don't give up free outs. There's your runners Slauter get em in this time.

Ok let's not put Mitch in cleanup again. Mitch has left 8 on base. Clutch hit rea (our cleanup from now on)

Yep.

Safe to say that Rea is the first baseman if he's healthy. So, it really boils down to Detz vs Porter vs Norris for the DH and 3B spot...

Figures that Porter would get robbed of a 3 run bomb right there that would effectively ice it as well... Seems LSU is pretty well out of pitching at this point..

Rea and graveman playing well is good sign. If we can get woodruff back, we can be team most of us expected.

Graveman is coming up huge. Exactly what he did against lsu and Florida last year. Hopefully he's finally back to pre injury form
