Our pitcher's have got to get ahead if they want to be successful. Quit falling behind 2-1 and 3-1 in the count. And for Goodness sake, when their best RBI guy is giving you an out, 17ing take it! Throw a fastball and let him **** it. Instead, we get cute and the 17er rips a double.

Seriously? A lot of people were calling for Bracewell to start. Unbelievable.

Yeah no doubt, we were throwing him junk up with him showing ****. Let him **** it. Bracewell looked about like the rest of our starting pitchers. Missed his spots, fell behind, walked people.

This one might be over before we get out of the 1st inning.

No I wasn't. Bracewell was one our most effective pitchers in hold situations. We had a hold situation Friday, but we saved him for situation he hasn't done this year

Check out the Arky fan with the side burns and aviators when the camera pans in on a left handed batter. That is all I have seen of note so far in the game

//ETA: correction, Left handed batters

Ross Mitchell has pitched perfectly outside of that 1 walk with the bases loaded. He is begging for a start....and I'm starting to think he should get 1.

Wouldnt bother me. I'd like to use Holder like we used to use Reed. Ross can start and use Holder to come in the 4th-7th as the change of pace guy.

Holder has 2.1 IP in 9 games. We have to use our best bullpen K guy a lot more than that. Holder in the 7th last night was needed.

I would love to see R. Mitchell start, but the problem that presents is we would only have one lefty in the bullpen (Girodo). Man we need Woodruff to figure it out. Bad.

And also, I'm assuming you meant Friday night for Holder? If so, I can see that. Hasn't Gentry done well so far though? I thought he had pitched well this year.

True, but how is that any different than today? Basically, I'm saying we should squash the Bracewell, Evan Mitchell, Woodruff, Cox, etc, plan that typically lasts 1 to 2 innings and spots our opponent 3-4 runs...and just get right to Ross out of the gate.

Not using bracewell Friday night probably cost us that game. Saving him for today probably cost us this game. This series was lost in the 7th inning Friday night.

At this point, that looks good. I forgot about Pollo, though. At this point I want Friday- Lindgren, Saturday- Graveman, Sunday- Pollo. That keeps Mitchell in the pen, but I would be perfectly fine with Mitchell in the Sunday role.

However, we won't make a run without 1 of E. Mitchell or Woodruff coming around. And Bracewell needs to stay in the pen. I didn't think Cox had pitched that bad this year other than Tuesday night.

Hind sight is always 20/20. The decisions didn't look bad until they didn't work out.
