Less than 5 minutes in, and we’ve already done 2 completely backbreaking things.

1) Toss a drive killing pick right to a DB that’s completely staring you down

2) Allow Bama to turn a 10 yard play into a 55 yarder by blowing an open field tackle

On the first one, it was 3rd and 9 in Bama territory but out of FG range. Drive was done anyway even if incomplete.

The 2nd one was more a product of not getting there on the blitz….yet again.

But your point is taken. Its pretty clear that we’re probably going to make way too many mistakes to pull out a W tonight.

And I don’t know what might’ve happened during or after the Rogers pick, but it was a poor decision to throw that ball regardless. The DB was dead locked in on him with perfect position

They are still the most talented team in the country….by a good bit. Never forget that. They’ll only get better between now and December….will be hell to deal with in the postseason like usual.

Bama is a good bama team but not a great bama team. If we would have some good mistake free and confident play from our qb and receivers we would be in this game. But because our qb and receivers aren't on same page we aren't. We are mstate.
