not too bad really for Sunday evening of a holiday weekend in which a lot travel. not an ideal time slot
I've started a new thread for the season. Sportsmediawatch's table is much easier to read and see. I'll post the updated ratings in that thread throughout the season.
Not to mention, a smaller opposing fan base from a B1G non-state school.
Agree - Colorado is novelty - I know I tuned in to see Prime. tOSU is a national brand and the other games in that tweet were mostly night games. Noon timeslot on a Sunday is pretty good.

This weekend the ratings won't come close.
1. CBS draws way more viewers than BIGN.
2. Last week we were a stand alone game, this week we have competition for
college football viewers.
yup - I don’t tweet, but someone ought to counter the comment about it only being because we were the only game on. Wasn’t Florida / Utah the only game on Thursday night before the holiday? Where did they clog in?
My basement has 4 TV’s so it’s moot for me. Point is unless you are a die hard RU fan nobody is choosing our game over that.

Thanks - to me that’s the bar and it shows me we stacked up pretty dang well. That game was the only game on at a time far more people were actually home. It had an SEC team matched up against a ranked opponent. Our game didn’t match the viewership, but not bad at all for a conference match up against a team that won one game last year.

If that's at me I don't see taking things in context as downplaying. I prefer not to have my info downplayed or puffed up, I just want reality of things are as they are.
Here's another context but one that can be seen in a positive way. Even though it was exclusive, both teams were bad last year and each won just 1 conference game. So given that, it's a good number for two bad teams from last year.

Nice - we had double the viewership (0.67 vs 0.33) of the Man Utd/Arsenal game airing at the same time.

FYI since you show interest about it, UF-Utah was not the only game on last Thursday evening. NU-Minn was also on (the game I watched).
Just information for you to take into consideration however you wish.
Also Utah UF was on ESPN, which is widely distributed but still not OTA. Minn Nebraska was on Fox
