Just came out a minute ago lol. But this isn't the site I usually post from as the table is just a pain to read and see.
2.67M viewers it looks like for the RU/NW game .67 rating in 18-49 demo
I've started a new thread for the season. Sportsmediawatch's table is much easier to read and see. I'll post the updated ratings in that thread throughout the season.thanks!
not too bad really for Sunday evening of a holiday weekend in which a lot travel. not an ideal time slot
Not to mention, a smaller opposing fan base from a B1G non-state school.thanks!

we have an opportunity this weekend as well. Need to tell everyone to turn those tvs on and watch RU!!!!!!Afternoon. 12-4pm.
Sunday afternoon of a holiday weekend makes it even more impressive.
This weekend the ratings won't come close.we have an opportunity this weekend as well. Need to tell everyone to turn those tvs on and watch RU!!!!!!
need a campaign like OSU
yup - I don’t tweet, but someone ought to counter the comment about it only being because we were the only game on. Wasn’t Florida / Utah the only game on Thursday night before the holiday? Where did they clog in?Afternoon. 12-4pm.

so you throw in the towel? you're better than your responseUp against Texas Bama
My basement has 4 TV’s so it’s moot for me. Point is unless you are a die hard RU fan nobody is choosing our game over that.so you throw in the towel? you're better than your response
It's in the other CFB ratings thread I started but Florid Utah got 3.2Myup - I don’t tweet, but someone ought to counter the comment about it only being because we were the only game on. Wasn’t Florida / Utah the only game on Thursday night before the holiday? Where did they clog in?
The "super duper" multiview lolMy basement has 4 TV’s so it’s moot for me. Point is unless you are a die hard RU fan nobody is choosing our game over that.
moot to me too but your comment is very beta. you are far more than thatMy basement has 4 TV’s so it’s moot for me. Point is unless you are a die hard RU fan nobody is choosing our game over that.
That has to be taken in context of other games on at the time vs exclusive.“According to Sports Media Watch, Rutgers-Northwestern on CBS was the 10th-most watched game in college football’s first full week. The game got 2.68 million viewers, which is more than powerhouses Notre Dame-Tennessee State on NBC, Virginia-Tennessee on ABC, Boise State-Washington on ABC and Louisville-Georgia Tech on ESPN, among others.”
from today‘s NJ.com article
Thanks - to me that’s the bar and it shows me we stacked up pretty dang well. That game was the only game on at a time far more people were actually home. It had an SEC team matched up against a ranked opponent. Our game didn’t match the viewership, but not bad at all for a conference match up against a team that won one game last year. It's in the other CFB ratings thread I started but Florid Utah got 3.2M
If that's at me I don't see taking things in context as downplaying. I prefer not to have my info downplayed or puffed up, I just want reality of things are as they are.so many of our own fans trying to downplay these numbers in every thread. surreal to see
it's all of you for being myopic, lacking vision, seeing big picture and having abused wife syndromeIf that's at me I don't see taking things in context as downplaying. I prefer not to have my info downplayed or puffed up, I just want reality of things are as they are.
Here's another context but one that can be seen in a positive way. Even though it was exclusive, both teams were bad last year and each won just 1 conference game. So given that, it's a good number for two bad teams from last year.
FYI since you show interest about it, UF-Utah was not the only game on last Thursday evening. NU-Minn was also on (the game I watched). Thanks - to me that’s the bar and it shows me we stacked up pretty dang well. That game was the only game on at a time far more people were actually home. Thanks - I think I must’ve had the top 25 sort onFYI since you show interest about it, UF-Utah was not the only game on last Thursday evening. NU-Minn was also on (the game I watched).
Just information for you to take into consideration however you wish.
Also Utah UF was on ESPN, which is widely distributed but still not OTA. Minn Nebraska was on FoxThanks - I think I must’ve had the top 25 sort on
