Playing a whole other game before you finish the game you had started the day before. That could screw up the pitching situation for the last two innings of tonight's game. If Holder is needed to close out tomorrow's regularly scheduled game, someone else might need to finish out the suspended game, with the two best relievers already used. Hopefully Graveman will toss another complete game and this point will be moot.

Note the SEC rule that allows the continued game to be completed after regularly scheduled game when TV is involved. insidemsusports.com/2013/04/18/aub…
No idea. I doubt it. I'm sure Kyle Peterson and crew are gone. Here is the SEC rule from Locke's blog:
“If a game is suspended on Friday or Saturday, the game shall be completed from the point of interruption on the following day prior to the regularly scheduled game. In the event that the regularly scheduled game is to be televised, the continued game may be played afterward.”

SEC rule is that if the regularly scheduled game is on TV, the suspended game can begin after the completion of the regularly scheduled TV game. That is to make sure the TV game broadcast starts on time. However, with only 2 innings needing to be played, I don't see why we can't restart the suspended game at 3 p.m., we'll have plenty of time to finish that game and have a nice break before the regularly schedule game starts at 6:30.
It seems to me that this is a great situation for us. We can play the regularly scheduled game tonight and already know the situation for the bottom of the 7th in the final game. If I were in Cohen's shoes this would be the scenario that I would want.
