First let me say may the best team win this weekend and we Tiger fans are looking forward to traveling to the always hospitable Starkville.
Second I have to say that I was very surprised at the outcome of ya'll's game with Vandy. After watching the LSU-Vandy game several times last week I learned that Vandy was a quality football team that hits hard and keeps on hitting for 60 minutes. They are NOT a pushover -- even though they were a little banged up leaving Baton Rouge -- and the fact that ya'll's defense manhandled them -- something that we struggled to do for 3 quarters -- says a lot. Congratulations on the win.
I didn't come on here to patronize anybody, but I honestly think the line of LSU -14 is flat out RIDICULOUS. LSU -3 is more like it and that's probably still too many points. After watching ya'll's defense, I am betting that this weekend's game will be very much like the LSU-State matchups of the Jackie Wayne era - SMASH MOUTH FOOTBALL....Well, bring it on DAWGS. I am looking forward to it.
