I think his career is finished due to a neck injury.

Ricco is listed as 2nd string WR even though he is sitting out the Memphis game.

Some heights and weights have been changed or more typos. Harrison-Gay has grown from 6-1 to 6-3. Stigors has grown from 6-3 to 6-5. Carmon listed at 330 just to name a few. D. Slay not listed anywhere.

Why isit so hard to get the depth chartright?

I thought he was a junior. His playing history in his bio indicates he is a junior. But he is listed as a senior everywhere.

Starting is kind of a surprise, but either way I expected him to get big minutes this year. He needed to find a way on the field because apparently all he does is make plays. I hope heplays as advertised because having an athlete like him stand out at OLB this year would be huge for that young LB core. I think we could see a Wells, Maye, Wilson starting LB core 3 or 4 games into the season, and that makes me feel very good about that position.

well, not if you've seen him and play and know anything about football. I guess that rules out most message board quarterbacks.

It would be good for depth if he could stay at DT, but I thought the talk last week was that he wasrunning 1st team DE.

I know Wells is a good player and expected to see a lot of him, just surprised Hughes didn't get the nod for the first game.

would be a good idea, but he is 2nd string corner not Bure. Yet another depth chart error. I think Mullen paid about as much attention to this depth chart as he probably does to the coaches poll.

If you're talking about Maye, I think the fact that he's cracked the two deep after arriving as a transfer and has only been in the program for about 3 months says alot about his ability. I don't know how much more you could reasonably expect from someone in his situation.

Why you morons continue to get worked up oer these meaningless depth chart is beyond me. It is not hard to tell Mullen could care less what these depth charts say.

is it just me or does it jump out that we only have 2 underclassmen slated to start? That is a long, long way from the end of Crooms/beginning of Mullen

I'm with you on that one, bsquared. All things remaining consistent, I think it'safe to say that from now on if an underclassman is starting or in the two deep, then he's just that good and can't be kept off the field.

it seems that there's a lot of uncertainty on the defensive side. I guess it should be expected with the change at coordinator. I'm ready to see whether we continue to perform well on D. The MSU fan within me is nervous.

This ispretty reasonable. If he's as good as advertised, he'll play a lot. Our LB's shouldn't be dragginglate.
