I think Pope (for some reason) thought Oweh and BG would be anchors of this team, and both of them underperforming , along with Lowe being hurt, is really killing everything Pope wanted to do.

And Oweh is straight up in ball-hog mode. Guy simply doesn’t want to pass the ball to anyone. I really wish he was playing in Serbia this year and that money was spent elsewhere.

I think we're just bad. If we can't just purely out athlete you were in trouble.
State regularly is a very solid defensive team, which is the direct nemesis of what we're trying to do especially without a pure PG. Overall effort is trash regardless.

If he has a worse year than last year and can't get a final four his 3rd year. I think he's done. He may walk after that. But nothing happening or a whiff of nothing happening until at least year 3. He only has a 5 year contract. I hope to God Mitch retires before then
