So excited, I remember I use to rewatch all our wins for so many years. I just loved what we did on the court, but it has been years since I rewatched any games. Don't get me wrong we had a couple good wins in there but it was just so gut wrenching.
I rewatched the KY Wesleyan game 3 times. I'm looking forward to see us improve on attacking the corners on Offense and how we improve our team defense.

Go Cats!!!

I have not been able to find the game on the ESPN app like the last game. Is it broadcasting somewhere else?

This has been the slowest week I can remember in years as a UK fan. I've been counting down the days until today, and this is for an exhibition game. I was honestly worried I'd never feel this way again the last couple of years, but now I am happy to say that I am going to once again have my emotional status determined by 18-23 year old kids playing basketball. I love it.

New coach, new team, the excitement is at an all time high and now the first few games are going to be hard to watch because they are being streamed or on some odd network and it's very frustrating to even try to be able to watch them. Guess I'll just wait til they play on channels I get, I have direct and am not going to pay anymore just to watch them play those first few games. Each year more and more of these games against lessor opponents are streamed, nobody wants to fool with that crap.

I'm always excited when it's UK GameDay.

Hope in future years we can schedule exhibitions against other power conference teams. I like seeing UT vs Indiana and KU vs Arkansas.

Not sure if that is a new thing as I don't remember teams doing it much n past.

I agree that I went from never missing and even rewatching a lot of games to missing games and not even caring that I missed it.

I think at some point you're going to have to step into the present and start streaming. It's easy to do, low investment and no contracts. The Sports Broadcasting world isn't going to reverse course and put everything on network, over-the-air TV.

And this isn't even "some odd network". Yes it's SEC+, but if you can already watch them on the regular SEC network, you can watch them on this one.

You are correct. It's a short learning curve, and normally ya just have to do it once or twice. If you are capable to learn how to use a smart phone, you are capable to get yourself hooked up with these littler streaming services.

Do you know if you can record the game on SEC+- I watched the last exhibition game, missed the first few minutes but could not see where I could record it

They were always “secret scrimmages” but the last couple years they’ve been on ppv, streamed, or on tv.

I’m probably in the minority but I’d rather keep our exhibitions like this year- a local KY school and a higher level D2 team. Good warm up for the season.

Just go to youtube some guy named Cole will be streaming it sound is real low but you will be able to watch it
I've watched that broadcast in previous years. The more you mention it here, the more chance he will be shut down. Just saying.

So...that might be a little different.

It's on the ESPN app, so you can definitely watch it again on demand using the app for some period of time after the broadcast. Maybe two weeks or so.

But I set my YouTubeTV account to record anything with UK basketball that comes on at anytime (it's a very cool feature of YouTubeTV) and they usually will replay these SEC+ games on one of the main ESPN channels or SEC channel maybe late at night or something. So my account records it then. I watched the last one as a recording on YouTubeTV a couple of days after the live game.

I have youtube tv and Hulu and disney package that owns ESPN so when it asked what provider you use i put my email and password for YouTubelive and did not acknowledge but when I chose Hulu which is not my provider and did the email and password to it the site took it but just buffered and would not work either

Where's the scouting report? Surely several people have been to their practices to check them out?

I see it in the ESPN app - but had to go down to search in the "sports" line. Chose basketball, then Explore More in Basketball (NCAA Men's Basketball), then it was the third one. Seems they are trying to hide that game.

I had the same issue. I don't know why they're steering people away from a moneymaker.
One thing I have seen is that it is on ESPN + which is a paid subscription and shows up quick on the ESPN app. The SEC+ Seems to be harder to find and once you find then putting in provider and such gets you the game. Not sure why it is so hard but I agree it is hard to find UK stuff typically on ESPN networks. KENTUCKY Hate is real!!!
