So UM loses a game and suddenly we're worthy?
17 that Gameday. Sitting in Columbia with two 1-loss teams right now. Stricklin needs to be lobbying for it right now, whether UM wins or not.

I don't even want Gameday. I want a better time spot. If they can't see the importance of our game then screw them. OM is gonna get skull 17ed by Bama! Let them have national exposure of their *** kicking. OM is 8-51-2 against Bama all time. I hope it's so bad they cut the broadcast early. SEC Nation will be just fine in Starkville. I hope SEC Nation enjoys their day in Starkville and tours our incredible campus. Get some Little Dooey's and be fat and happy.
i dont get the "i dont want gameday" crowd. its outstanding exposure for the university and something big-time programs experience routinely. its a big deal no matter how we play it off. we will likely be the last to get it....but when we do, it will be a big deal. it might be vs auburn the week after its in oxford. if gameday isnt your thing, thats fine, but its a big deal nationally. i watch it every saturday as i think most of us do at some point during away games. maybe if we had harassed them for two decades, they might be coming to starkville, be we havent. its a big deal, acknowledge it, and move on. its sounds silly downplaying it imo.

A university should earn it versus putting up and being fake. The ESPN crew would rather be somewhere else! wow.... "please rebel bears.... quit begging us to come here!" that says enough!
Isn't State scheduled to have the SEC Network Gameday Clone that day? I'm good with that. I like that they deemed Starkville worthy as quickly as they did. (I know Tebow and Co. are only SEC focused, but still there are other games they could go to.)
