Rapp by two TDs because West Point Defense will not stop their Offense.
Franklin by three TDs because they will stop CB run game & score on defense.

If WP is healthy, this could definitely be the game of the week. I don't see either team stopping the other, but they might stop themselves with penalties or turnovers. 35-33 Rapp

Exactly what I’m thinking, I think it comes down to who turns it over the most

If WP has both #23 and #44 at 100% this Friday for 4Qs, WP by 3 TDs

If the current Franklin Coach is anything like Parker, then Franklin's O will line up, they won't care if you know where the play is coming and they will just run at you, over you and through you until you are attrited. Franklin by 3 TDs.

I'm interested to see what happens with Franklin and Colonial Beach. Is Franklin as good as they looked last week?

Franklin is good but lets not forget that Essex had 2 MAJOR fumbles that were turned into touchdowns by Franklin. One from around Essex 35 that was picked up and ran in and the other was on Essex 10 that was recovered by Franklin and a couple plays later they scored. The game could of very well been just 12-0 when it was stopped due to lightning. Wish I could be there today to watch the 3rd and 4th quarter but can’t because of work.

23 played last week & 44 didn't play.
In 13.5 minutes of play, #23 had 2 carries for 34 yards (one 26 yard TD run). #4 played in #44's absence. #4 had 6 carries for 75 yards and 2 rush TDs. WP #3 and #13 averaged 12 ypc. WP's backfield is not one dimensional. WP beat RHS last year 7-6 and did not have #23, #3, #5 and #44 only got 4 carries.

Can’t wait for the day fumbles are apart of the game.
They are a part of the game. I’m just saying the ones Essex had were not because of getting hit and the ball popping out. The QB to RB exchange was sloppy is what caused the 2 Friday night. The ball was on the ground before any contact with a defensive player.

Sir a good JV team would have beat Rappahannock County Varsity team.

Three great East games this week!

- West Point v Rappahannock
- I got Rapp winning this one.

Northumberland has a bye this week. I may head down to OBX this weekend, if not, I plan to check this game out in old Warsaw.

I love how the Raider faithful tailgates near the field - I hope that the Raider Jam Band rocks all night.

Whoever wins, probably should be a top 10 team (imo).

Essex v 2A King William - I see that KW is getting some love from several posters, good for them.

KW has improved but I think Essex bounces back this week and wins, maybe well. Just depends on momentum. Now if Essex falls again, they just might crumble. The NND certainly would be wide open.

I would say that this is a must win for Essex....I know most Coaches don't like to say or admit it, but sometimes it is just that - a must win...

Thoughts?

Colonial Beach v Franklin - I will pull for the always tough Drifters, but this may be Franklin's year (after watching Sussex's success last season). I am glad that the old Tri Rivers has a power to challenge the Neck. They looked well coached, fast, and hungry against Essex.

Franklin is at their beloved home in the dreaded Armory - Franklin will look to remove all doubts that they are an Elite team this season.

Last 4 games have been split between these two - 2-2. CB won last year, maybe not this season. However, you never know with CB.

Also, Northampton at Surry might be interesting game. Northampton has improved the last couple years and there is a # 8 seed to earn in the East.

Sussex lineup features mostly freshman and sophomores , the Tigers will struggle to win 5 games this year, but they will be a dangerous 1st round draw if they make the playoffs.

From a reliable source...Sussex moved the ball well but fumbled several times. On defense they missed several tackles. These are the growing pains of a young team. But give Lancaster credit because they executed and capitalized on Sussex's mistakes. It will be a long season for the Tigers but I look forward to supporting them no matter what!!! #TigerPride

Excited about the development that will occur this season with the Tigers, Confident in our programs coaches to direct the ship as they have always done.
