I will be attending Garrison Johnson's game tonight in the Houston area. Johnson is a 2019 RB target for Nebraska, some believe he may be a silent commit to the Huskers. You may remember he transferred to Manvel High School from Frenship High School in Wolfforth, TX. Manvel is a very talented team, here is a list of their 2018 class and where they are going. They are playing a pretty good Pearland team. Manvel is top ranked 5A team in Texas while Pearland is 17th 6A. Should be interesting

Trent Gordon 4 star DB Penn St - 240 overall rated player by Rivals
Brian Johnson 3 star LB Texas A&M
Jalen Preston 4 star WR Texas A&M 84 overall rated player by Rivals
Kam Scott 3 star WR Missouri
Deneric Prince 3 star RB Texas A&M
Terrence Norman 3 star WR uncommitted

I will pass on my observations later

Johnson has thick lower body. Runs aggressive. Isn't real sudden but hits hole hard.

The Manvel QB is injured so they are using Preston as a QB and running zone read. Definitely not their normal offense. Preston is keeping the ball about 2/3 of the time, so Prince and Johnson aren't getting a bunch of carries. Johnson does have a touchdown run of about 3 yards. Good hard run.

Johnson sat out most of the second half with an apparent hand injury. I don't have exact stats but I am going to guess about 10-12 carries for 65-80 yards and 1 TD. Manvel won 45-7

I'm guessing you live close to Manvel. I used to live in Alvin. How bad was the hurricane damage in your area?

Personally, I had just a couple of minor roof leaks. But my subdivision was surrounded by water.

Hwy 6 between Arcola and Alvin was closed for a few days. On my way to the game tonight there was a ton of ruined furniture and carpet all through Alvin. Hwy 6 at 288 was completely under water. I have never seen it even have standing water.

I've been to Pearland on multiple occasions and often forget how bad it must be for you guys. I've worked all over the Houston area. Hope you guys are recovering.
