In 1996, FSU played a schedule filled with ACC creampuffs (Duke, NC State, Wake Forest, Maryland, etc.) but they did beat the Gators in Gainesville by a field goal. Florida was lucky as hell to get the rematch against them for sure.

You have to play the bowl game. There is an easy solution here: LSU plays Oklahoma State. That's it. That's how the BCS is supposed to operate. You're not supposed to play a conference foe in a bowl game. Oklahoma State did what they are supposed to do. But since the Alabama hype machine is in full force (and Boise State choked), you're not going to get to see the correct matchup.<div>

Bama lost to the undisputed #1 team in America by 3 points. And if you watched the game Bama actually pushed LSU around a good bit and moved the ball up and down the field. If not for a ****** field goal kicker and one questionable interception they are undefeated right now.

If you were really trying to prove that these guys can't prove that Alabama is the second best team, then you have to apply that same argument to yourself, but you're not doing that because you're pulling imaginary "facts".
