DeBoer, SP is a good team with great tradition. No need to prop up the teams you beat while calling all other teams crap constantly. We get it, quit beating that dead horse.

Using your own logic above, you/SP should not get any opinion on any team you have not played. The only team from our conference you can speak about, using this logic, is Lincolnton. Are they a crap team as well? I know it was just a scrimmage but most SP fans I know, have more respect for them after that event than before.

HH just has some parts of their team that would give EG, SC, Burns, WL and yes even Lincolnton problems this year and EVERY year.

Coach/culture change hasn't mattered NEARLY as much as the conference change. Unless you want to put SP, Crest, KM and Ashbrook back on the schedule because those are 4 losses you would have the last two years since you've been gone each year.
I am not doing any narrative - everybody on earth knows that to be true outside of the Lakewood Golf Course asylum. Tack those losses on and you are .500 or sub 500 and there is no coach or culture change talk occurring.

A couple of you are missing my point. We all know that Forestview hurt Huss badly. Huss has always a boatload of athletic kids every year in that 6’ - 6’3 175lb-210lb range and always have offensive lineman in that 250lb- 280lb range every year. I agree their scheme is trash and it’s obvious they need a real off season training/ weight training program. I agree with Deboer that you have to consider the history somewhat. Huss historically was on a level where they played ALL the CC teams tough and won their share of matchups. You cant compare a 1-2yr run versus a year in and year out situation. Neither Burns nor Lincolnton consistently won against Huss. If I remember correctly Huss blew Burns out in 2018 and took Shelby to the wire in a 3rd or 4th round playoff game that same year. Huss has gone backwards under the current coaching regime but I do feel for them when it comes to some of the things the Huss coaches have to work with and the lack of resources and apathy in general when it comes to football in GC with the exception of 1 or 2 schools.

So go ahead and talk about all the losing the first 11 years, no arguments here. However those days are gone now and it is bright and sunny days from here on out. Even in purple uniforms

Nothing but respect for anyone over there. However I now live where my kids go to SC, so guess what I am all in on SC because no matter how much I pulled for SP for so many years, some things are more important and will change what you have known your whole life. It's pretty easy to see that the top 3 teams in that conf. make deep runs in playoffs often...and recently Ash. has gotten much better state-wide.

Oh he definitely takes his crazy pills but he does makes some specific accurate observations and points on some of his pure football takes. Football at its essence is blocking and tackling so no one should argue that point.

That’s straight coach talk and we all know this. Not sure, again we are talking about this year. I know you are saying build up a resume and do it for 5 years and I agree that the program is still growing. However the new coach can only do what he can do and he has totally turned the program around. He will continue to do that as long as he stays. I am not talking about the previous regime so no the current coach does not have a victory over HH unless you want to count 7 on 7 this year. I don’t count 7 on 7 either but if you did add a victory over Ashbrook this year too.

I will say prior to 4 years ago I couldn’t tell you one thing about Stuart Cramer. Never kept up with them, and had never been to a game except games when they played South Point. Again, when your kids go to a school it changes. I work with a guy who graduated from UNC but wears State gear now because his daughter goes there. So I am not the one for Stuart Cramer trivia. What I can say is I saw the 0-10 season in 2023 and the 2-8 season in 2024 and then saw last year and this year and it is a complete 180. No longer are there kids leaving to go be the starting center or starting DB at KM (I’m sure you know the kids I am referring to) because of the situation Cramer is in. So eventhough it is the early stages for the new program, it is on the right track. I’m excited to see how the rest of this year shakes out and what the future holds.

Are you serious? Somebody is telling you a story. Schedules change abruptly all the time... just ask St. Cramer, EG and Lincolnton.
Nothing about that is random or made up. I get Lincolnton getting out...they still have to play NL and EL (in county rivals in non conf. often). Nothing but respect there.
