Who do I request to give me official access to post on a "Gaston County" thread on the 5A/6A board? Have you gave the same lecture to Burns and Shelby fans on the Cleveland County board on 5A/6A? SMDH.

Again...not trying to run anyone off. You and StormSurge's claims that I have an affinity to think about st. cramer football is preposterous as most of the football talk on this 5a/6a board is relegated to those very teams that participate in said conference. I don't mind speaking about the lower divisions but I am not out scouring the 1a-4a sites and posting daily either. Ya'll are kinda LIKE an ex girlfriend who keeps walking in front of the house 20x back to back while we sit in a lawnchair and she asks "why you lookin at me?!?!?"
That fact you can’t see or admit what you do is beyond irrational. Your whole board life is an obsession. You just go back and forth with one obsession to another. Sometimes it is CC recruiting/cheating…sometimes it is there isn’t any good football being played this year compared to the last 4-5 years….sometimes it is Cramer based….sometimes it is trying to define a cut block….sometimes it is Shelby quit playing SP right about the time their program went south (even though they continue to win and win and win) and saved themselves from the last 10 years of beatings…all the time it is irrational thoughts that make most people on here question how in the world can someone be this bullheaded that he can’t even contemplate another person has a view that might be right if it contradicts his.
Honest question, if Cramer would happen to win it all this year would you give any credit or at least give congratulations or would you just harp on them playing something under 5A and it really doesn’t count? I want to know what to plan for in a few weeks.
You got to win it all first… Not saying you can’t but things change come playoff time. You are in about the exact same spot as last season as far as who you won and lost to.
If you guys win it all this year, then yes, absolutely. If Burns wins it all, would you do the same?
And just for the record, Huss would finish 5th in our poor little conference this year, sorry if that hurts the Big Souths feelings, it's just truth. I'm not talking about historical anything, I'm simply talking about this year.

I hope it's one of the two of us. Thankfully based on current projections the earliest we could see each other is the Western Finals
I had a feeling that post would bring out the Burns guys. You are 100% right about having to win it. You are also 100% right about who we lost to. I would beg to differ about how the games went this year compared to last year. Again, I gave you guys credit for the win, but I mean the FG did just miss wide left of this conversation would be different. All I’m saying is the the game could have went the other way. So yes I think we are in a different position this year because I believe this years team is a lot better than last years, no offense to last years. With that being said I think you guys are better this year too. Hope if the seeds fall like AI is predicting we both get that rematch because that means we will be playing for a spot in the championship.

Burns earned it. No issue there. I also think this team is better than last year’s team as well. Have we lost to the same teams, yes, but we have been more competitive in the losses and wins.
We are in year two of a total culture rebuild. The new coach inherited a team that was 13-36 in the previous 5 years and just finished a two year stretch of 2-18. Last year’s team was made up of a bunch of kids that have never won at anything football related, outside of a few kids. Amazing progress in a short period of time.
The program is working hard and it is showing on the field.

I honestly believe Cherryville would beat them and Huss' defense and special teams would win the game against east gaston for them. Huss and EG offense is even from the game I saw of each. Could have been both teams worse offensive games all i know though.

I asked AI to propose a conference for HT based on 2a or lower, current win-loss, and distance.
It’s possible to give HT kids a more enjoyable experience with more like teams.

Can they just make the football team independent? I think years ago you could, but not sure if you still can. They could play some of those teams and some of the home school teams.

Everybody talks about the Southern Piedmont Conference and the bad that comes with it, but who are the other contenders playing. No jab, seriously asking. I know WI is in a pretty decent conference, what about Hibriten, Tuscola, and Mount Plesant?
Bro I didn’t take offense to it nor did I feel like it was a callout. I was just making a statement. That’s the honest truth. I think as a Burns fan the ultimate final round game would be us vs SC at Burns because of how great that game was. I also would not be too mad about having a final home game. lol We might end up taking a trip to Lenoir or West Iredell depending on how things shake up. All teams have the ability.
Unless AI or my math is off I don’t see much way we aren’t on opposite sides. I think you will get that trip to WI and I think we will get a trip to Lenoir for the 2nd year in a row, and then we will see what happens.

Speaking of SP SPECIFICALLY: Some years are easier than others. A couple state champ. teams couldn't have beaten a couple/few 2 and 3 loss teams of other years....doesn't diminish the state titles, though.

This is what I feel to be very disingenuous; this effort to try to craft the changed culture narrative and attempt to make somebody outside of Lakewood Golf Course believe it and agree with it. This is a fundamental difference: you all don't like that I disagree with you on this.
St. Cramer is in year two of playing 3a/4a ball as a 5a school and the new coach is enjoying that. SC was 13-36 in a different conference and non conference schedule. Those two things matter the most. The previous regime did not have such a luxurious road. Mt. Holly is still the second largest city in Gaston county and at least half of the public students from MH go to St. Cramer. It truly is Mt. Holly High in every way except for it's located in Belmont. Very notable facts left out amidst culture change talk. I don't doubt there has been change. But those two scenarios are completely different.....unless you think adding SP, Crest, KM and Ashbrook to the schedule is an easier method to come by wins.
We are 4A just ask the NCHSSA, they will tell you. They may even have it on a website or just ask AI. Mt Holly might be the second largest city but Mt Holly also has a 2A Charter School in Mt Holly, so that hurts the #’s and puts SC at 4A. Unless you want to come up with one of your conspiracy theories about SC shipping non athletes to MIC to keep their #’s down. However you questioning a program that was losing to the same teams under the previous regime that the current program are putting on running clocks and beating them the same way the 4 teams you listed above is well, as wrong as you saying SC is a 5A school.
