I have been to Gately Stadium hundreds of times but my first visit this year. Figured I would take in a half before heading to Marist. So after a TD in the north end zone, the teams had to travel the hundred yards backwards to kick the EP. It is a locked fenced construction zone behind the north end zone I guess. Interesting!
I was hoping for a competitive game but CLS handled Kenwood with ease - it was 42 - 0 before I traveled over to Red & White Stadium. Marist looked good !! A tight 7-0 halftime lead built to 21-0 in just a few minutes. Stevenson sure had their chances though - 2 missed FG's and a pic by the Redhawks at the 1 yard line.

You are correct. They are constructing a new state of the art track. CPS doesn't have access to retrieve a ball if kicked into the fenced area.

I wonder what would happen if say it was a strong wind from the south Could a team needing a FG to win a game elect to kick towards the north goal post and sacrifice a $50 ball???
