South Carolina could easily lose to Clemson next week and finish with an identical overall record to us(they'd be 6-2 in conference).

They were in the Peach in 2010, while we were in the Gator in 2010. It would make sense for those two bowls to want to flip flop teams this year if all things are approx equal..

well, there is also the match-up from the ACC- if SC beats Clemson, Clemson will likely be in the Peach, and there wont be a bowl re-match. That will send SC to the Gator and us to Atl from what I understand

Could the Sugar take Florida (if Florida beats FSU) as the at large and have an Alabama/Florida Sugar Bowl that is not a rematch AND would be a top 5 matchup? To me a 11-1 Florida that beats FSU is better than a 11-1 Clemson that loses to FSU ... plus AL/FL seems like a fun match up

The Peach Bowl and Liberty Bowl were at our game today. My guess is if we win next week, we will be going to the Peach(Chik Fi-la). I think they will take us over South Carolina because, including the SEC championship game, SC has been to ATL an awful lot lately.

I haven't studied the Bowl scenarios but I want no part of Clemson. They have an unreal offense with Boyd and Watkins. Just for entertainment purposes I wanna see Oregon vs Clemson. Probably not possible but it'd be one hell of an offensive display.
