Don't worry, Pope's third year here will be his breakout coaching year. Junior Noah and AAU star JJ will take us where we want to go.

He not a guy who can create for himself.
Chandler is quick enough but our coaches flat out suck. He hasn't developed go to moves that use his athleticism and doesn't get fouls called even when he tries to draw them. He should be able to get his shot around a flare screen or curl into a floating jumper pretty easily at the college level. He needs to add a paint floater and a gather step move to make some space.

How anyone celebrates Dioubate is puzzling. He usually tries hard -- that's about the only good thing anyone can say. He is so determined to show the NBA how good of a scorer he is.
People don’t see a lot with this team. MO has killed team chemistry, Oweh has too. They don’t have anyone leading and making huddles and putting players on notice. It’s just me me ball and “show the scouts”. Add Pope? Flush it.

This is no way that this is a tournament team. If we get in it will be a undeserving gift

There are 361 men’s basketball coaches. I would legitimately take 360 over Pope right now.
Pope is not a top 50 coach. The lockedon guy for BYU was saying they were ready to move on from him that he hit his ceiling there. And they were shocked Kentucky was interested.

Pope was not going to make it at BYU. And we’ve got people saying give him more? Guess they want to see more.

the broadcasters keep saying florida trys to score within 4 seconds per possession. Is that right?
No. They actually run a lot of good stuff. They are good at forcing mismatches and rotating the ball. They'll make a defense work pretty hard to keep up, especially if you are switching.

I swear this year is more miserable than the COVID year
Yep. Been saying it. Covid was a throw away, but they rival that team to me. Other than that, since 1993, my least favorite Kentucky team of all time. And no I’m not joking and no it’s no hyperbole. They’re awful. And the coach is awful. Worst coach I’ve ever seen at Kentucky.
