Gawker thinks State is racist

That's actually a Road Runner postcard picture. And yes, the white guy in the photo was not very happy, and rightfully so, but the university's lawyers also told the website that they were about to get their asses sued.
Basically, they googled something and found that picture, probably liked that it said "Mississippi State", posted it with an article that dealt with Ohio State, and then got ambushed for doing so. The only smart thing they did was take it down.

Maybe I'm just dumb at this "interweb" thing, but what picture was it? I can't seem to find it...
That's an odd place to hang out. Second, while the article dealt with racism, the photo portrayed a very positive image for the university. It was clearly staged and like someone else posted, you could prolly find a photo like that on any university website, even HBC's. Regardless, I'm glad the school is on top of things like that, because not all representations of MSU around the web are so cheery.
