Let GB do his job, quit believing what somebody's girlfriend told him she saw, and realize that Starkville is too small to hold all of the "lock tight" sources that have been mentioned on this board over the last week.
If you get a mindset that a new coach won't be named until after bowl season, then a hire before then wll be a welcome surprise.
Patience, please. This is GB's first HC FB hire as an AD. Let's not make it harder on him than it has to be. That's what happened to Bama starting with the Dubose hire. Mal Moore lucked out when Rich Rod chickened out and ran back to WVU. A month went by before Moore eventually was forced to bend over backwards to get Saban. So far it appears to have been a good/great hire, but that aside, the bammers were at riot level by the time the news came that Saban was truly in negotiations.
