Did they commit? There are something interesting things going on on twitter with them, McShane and Wilhite.

Both tweeted "Guac is extra #GBR" then tweeted corn and red emojis. McShane then tweeted "why not" and the same emojis and Wilhite retweeted McShane and said "Yes Sir!"

These 2 are my must gets for next years class. I truely believe there ours to lose. We need Gebbia at QB, either him or O'Brien should pan out, if not both (cross my fingures) and KJJ is another must get, with Rileys offense, we need another elite WR to go along with Morgan.

The main reason I think Johnson is ours is his constant visits to Lincoln, his defense he gives for Riley and this staff, 3 his dad's love for Riley helps big time and 4, if he's anything like his dad, he will play right away and tear up the Big 10.

Mark my words Gebbia and Johnson Jr are ours, I pray we land Holmes (Holmes maybe the biggest must get to add him along side Lee and Anderson and Holmes if he's a true 5 star, he could see the field right away at CB) and Hightower along with them and Dismuke.

It would be a boon just to get Gebbia. He's waht, a Top 100 recruit and maybe one of the top QB's in the country? That's a cornerstrone piece right there, if he jumps on board, loads of dudes will be more likely to.

Right, I think both of them see the big time with us. Big name school rebuilding and trying to get back to the top and QB is a huge need to do so and we need a few elite WRs to complete it out.

Huge if here, but if they commit (and honor their commitment) what will those who are complaining about the recruiting say? Both of these guys are 2017 guys, correct?

Right, their freshman year is Riley's third coaching.

For what it's worth, D. Holmes and Juice Vaughn tweeted out the same emojis.

Also, POB tweeted at DH, telling him to come in for a visit.

K Jr. had some interesting things to say about the portion of the fan base that has been bashing Riley and company. Every fan of Nebraska should definitely read....

He basically said a bunch of fans around him at the game were being really negative (and vocal) about Riley.

KJJ noted that he found that to be very disrespectful because Riley and Williams are some of the only reasons he is considering Nebraska.

In short, the reactionary nature of fans in year one doesn't help recruiting.

That sums it up perfectly, and this is a kid that can be one of the most important recruits in years, as he no doubt will start a domino effect with some legit studs IMO.

Worst thing possible for NU to land these guys just happened, Sark fired. IMO, they're both still a strong NU lean but that can change the second USC announces their next head coach.

Very true.

Keyshawn has stated that he would like to have made his decision before the start of his Sr year so advantage Nebraska regardless of who USC picks as their head coach imo. Not sure on when Gebbia is wanting to commit. I'm assuming sooner rather than later since most QBs seem to commit early.

I think the ties with Riley outweighs the ties with USC. As long as Riley is here, I believe we get this kid, and what a huge get he'd be.

I agree it could be a problem depending on whom USC hires. It could also benefit us if they hire someone that has no relationship with Keyshawn and the family. We shall see.
