Did Gebbia screw us? He could be the starter if Martinez is out. Who knows what he was thinking before he transferred. Scott could have used him today.

Bunch > Gebbia
Yeah, he kind of hurt our depth. We definitely saw why A-Mart is the starter though

All of the reporting during Fall camp, especially the week before Frost announced the starter, indicated a close battle between Gebbia vs. Martinez for #1. This isn't ancient history, you can read the reports from just a few weeks ago. The coaches definitely do not share your opinion. That doesn't mean that Bunch will fail. It looks certain he will get his shot to prove his value.Bunch > Gebbia

Sure would be nice to have another 4* kid who could play QB right about now, wouldn't it? Ain't it funny how Tua and Hurts were Co-#1 QBs until it was too late to transfer and then Tua was #1 by himself? It's almost like they planned it that way.All of the reporting during Fall camp, especially the week before Frost announced the starter, indicated a close battle between Gebbia vs. Martinez for #1. They've both been playing both qb's so I see no problem at all with what they did.Frost could’ve pulled a Saban or Sweeney and announced Co-Starters.
I’m ok with how he did it though. He was honest with Gebbia and Gebbia bolted.
This is the proper frame of mind to have regarding a player who quit the team.Forget Gebbia, it's a done deal. Wish him well for the work he put in but it is time now for us to have moved on. Agree with him or demonize him, it just ain't gonna change anything at this point.
Not that unusual for a college quarterback these days though.I want kids that want to play for Nebraska and be Nebraska. Gebbia is all about Gebbia. Hope things work out for him.

Very very true.
