Actually, that is not quite true. Any team seeded #5 or lower will have to win FOUR straight playoff games, after having had to win its conference championship game, to win it all. On the other hand, as many as four SEC teams could comprise the top four seeds - so two of those did not even have to play for the SEC title and another top 4 seed could have played and even lost the SEC championship game! So, in theory, three SEC teams could only have to win THREE postseason games to take the trophy! A crap team or league like WVU or the Little 8 will almost always have to win FIVE games postseason to be the champ — and we will make sure the seeds sprout that way, ha ha! Ain‘t it beautiful? It’s a fail-safe for the bluebloods and ESPN!So, just keep spinnin‘ that WVU will have a 1 in 12 chance if it plays ball -- and that is only IF we allow the Little 8 a token berth, hee hee! And how many years can the Little 8 ride that token slot earning chicken feed while berths for 5-6 teams make the SEC richer, bigger and more powerful season by season! Yeah, Gee is sly enough not to swallow ESPN snake oil but we know how to handle his type…start with the bow tie and all the times his jokes hurt Notre Dame’s feelings!
