I cannot wait until the day that Trooper is out of job. That towel waving douche is everything that is wrong with the world.

Their money guys are still intact.....

Remember that Bobby Lowder is not on the Board of Trustees anymore, he was the spearhead for making changes. Pat Dye and his cronies are operating freely. They really believe Chizik can turn this around. Or at least they believe they're raking in enough talent to keep him around for one more Signing Day.

What would be really, really funny is if they do turn it around. What if every couple of years Auburn is in contention for a NC and every year inbetween is like this one? They could be the UK basketball of college football.

I joke, but crazier things have happened, like Chizik winning a NC. I thought he'd get fired after one year.

Auburn can't buy all the Cam Newton's. I hope Chizik stays for years.

Worst case for them is for Chizik to win 7 games next year.....

and give the aura of improvement. They'd never get rid of that guy, then.

Facts are, Chizik was hired because he's a dumbass. He would sit up there, not ask questions, proclaim ALL IN and all that other garbage, while Dye and the cronies operated and ran the program. The cronies just picked the wrong guy though, and they are just too stupid to see it. Chizik's not a leader, and doesn't inspire confidence or command respect from his players. The players followed Gus Malzahn and Cam Newton in 2010. Funny how the same guys were always in position to make plays from 2009-2011, then suddenly they looked stupid in 2012. It's because they had no confidence in what they were doing. They got cocky and got rid of all their leaders, wanted to go back to 'Auburn Football'. That's great and all, they just don't have the leadership at the top to pull it off.

The cronies will continue to operate, but their biggest mistake, the one they are blind towards, is that they don't have the right guy actually running the team.

Wouldn't leave many for you guys, right?

Oh wait, sorry, I forgot two of your bagmen (or at least their funding partners) are now in prison.

Chizik 2012 = Sherril 2001 Keeping him would be the worst thing they could do, so count me as "all in!".

I am not so sure about all that talent. I recall seing some attrition figure and the only school in the conference that had attrition numbers higher than Nutt's Bears was Chizick's Tigers.

And you are full of crap; you heard it here first...

..I know nothing about the politics of Auburn football. But I do know Auburn is a little over a week away from getting beat 62-0 by Alabama. That will be the culmination of the most humiliating season in Auburn history. There is no way Chizik survives the shitstorm.
