Damn if he does, damn if it doesn't...
_________________________________________________
Sometimes I can't figure out some of you guys.

Last year, Coach Croom took a gamble near the half that worked to LSU's favor and allowed them to take the momenum into the half. And MSU never recovered from it.

This year, MSU appears to have the momentum so he decides to not take any chances and take that momentum into halftime.

And when I get on here what I read are complaints. Guys try to enjoy the fact that we are only down by seven at halftime in Death Valley at night.

as it pertains to the end of the 1st, last year - Henig had already thrown 3 INT's and we have not moved the ball on them. This year - Lee was playing well - we were moving the ball decently and had already scored a TD. Just totally different scenarios. Once again - horrible game management by Croom.

they will continue to support MSU if and when he's canned? I mean really, these people wake up early and dig deep to find any and every excuse under the sun for him. They call out anyone who actually cares about winning and accuse those that have at least some expectation of success "fairweather" and "should put in an app if we can do better". Seriously, what will they do when this joke is finally off our hands? I know we're not lucky enough for them to discontinue their support. The perm mulleted one can go play in traffic if he's excited about "only being down by seven". Hell, actually he can go play in traffic regardless.

is an accomplishment. We only lost by 10 in Death Valley. Big deal. Arkansas (8-5) won there last year. Every other SEC team regularly plays close games against LSU. This is the same team that lost to LaTech by 8 and GaTech by 31.

....I could go either way on that decision. I can think of 5 decisions worse than that that Croom has made this year. A turnover there kills the substantial momentum that we had just created. I do think he should've dropped back and taken one deep shot once he got to the 43 and there wasn't much time left, but I don't think you come out in hurry up from your own 23 at that point. All it takes is Lee getting hit from behind (not that unlikely) and fumbling, and they could punch it in real quick and the game's over. I don't fault him that much on that.

You are at Death Valley and the only way we were going to win the game was to play aggressive, balls to the wall football. If I was a player on the offense and my Coach just did that, I would be walking to the locker room with my head down. Run on the momentum and take a few shots downfield. From that point on I knew we would lose that game. In the SEC you have to gamble and you have to take chances. We are no different except for that we suck a huge cock.

Thanks alot Croom for once again having to confidence in your team. Thanks alot dickface

could happen every time we get the ball. It was an awful decision from a coach that is making himself known for awful ingame decisions.

why Coach calls you a dumbass.

1. We had serious momentum. You say turning it over would give up momentum? Croom destroyed the momentum by letting the air out of the ball. So why not give it a shot?

2. We had 3 timeouts and were at the 40 damn yard line with more than a minute left. Did you even watch the game? We ran the ball to damn near midfield and THEN decided not to use any timeouts. If we were tied or ahead at that point, I say sit on the ball and head for the locker room. But we were BEHIND.

3. We had a chance to score and REALLY get them thinking and get them a little uncomfortable. As long as it was a 2-score game, they didn't feel threatened.

4. You never play in fear. That's what you're suggesting. But..but..but.. what if we turn it over? ****, you could turn it over at any point in the game on any play. What a ***** way to play, and typical of a loser State fan mentality.

Croom had been saying all week that he wants to give his team confidence. He even said if he could open their heads up an pour it in he would. Well Croom, you did just the opposite at the end of the 1st half. You told your team you didn't have enough faith in them to make plays and not turn the ball over in the final 1:11. You're telling them don't take risks and be afraid to make things happen. It is far better to lose conservatively (Croom) than win taking risk (Nutt).

This series and game makes Croom look even more like Polk. He wants the guys to take the third strike looking. Hope the other team messes up and you get lucky. Don't make your own luck.

in **** week after week & him talking about confidense , then him not showing any at all in his football team . He showed his team, the MSU fan, & the whole nation just how big of a dumbass he really is. If that was'nt enough he also comes up saying Tyson Lee played better that he thought he would. If we win the game thats ok but we lost by 10. That is about the dummest thing I have ever heard come from a coach of any sport at anytime of my life. I think most of our players really can see that this pitiful excuse for a coach is way way far over his crooked hat head.
