Bryce Drew pulled his name out of the coaching search b/c Strickland had already made a hire. This will at least help me sleep tonight after this crazy *** day. Hopefully tomorrow will be full of GOOD NEWS. One can only hope. Good night folks.

I would rather have kept Stansbury than hire Calipari's clipboard holder who nobody had ever heard of 2 weeks ago. If we're going to go the assistant route, why not hire Dooley. At least he is regarded as one of the top assistants in the country. Nobody knows who the hell Payne is.

I'd rather have the dude at Valley. Or Stan Jones. Or a whole bunch of other people. I don't see any upside with Payne.
Or Sean Woods, Kermit Davis, Jr., Larry Eustachy, John Cooper, Chris Collins, Rob Jeter, Stan Jones, Phil Cunningham, or anyone else who's been mentioned. There are a few additional clues that have been given that lead to this conclusion...like the fact that it's someone who most of us will be happy with.
Damn people got a lot of sources. And either they don't know **** or we've been turned down more than a UM football search.
