Geneseo and Sterling to the WB6?

DeKalb - that's not too far from a commuting standpoint from Metea, Waubonsie, Neuqua, Naperville Central, Naperville North.
They have a solid football time (not sure about their other sports).
The mileage may seem long at first glance but most of it is on I88 which is wide open after sugar grove and great for going 80 to 85mph. I have done that drive to NIU in roughly 40 minutes (half of it is fiddling around with the traffic lights on Eola or Route 59).
Big enrollment discrepancy though - wonder if they would be up for it (and/or if the Napers and Valleys would be up for it?)

Or maybe Southwest Prairie goes to 12 and takes them both, they are not that much smaller than Romeoville..
School buses usually have governors that restrict speed to way lower than 80
That would be good for Southwest Prairie. It would then allow Minooka, the Oswergos etc to schedule some non con games versus stuck 100% in conference for all football games.
geneseo school board votes tonight, i believe, whether or not to join the western big 6. sterling school board will hear a presentation tonight on the invitation from the wb6, but no vote will be taken.

Wouldn't be shocked to see Kaneland and Dekalb end up in the NIC-10, which would then split up into two 6 and 6 divisions for football.
Hard time believing Yorkville doesn't end up in the Southwest Prairie. Town is growing and that high school should be up around 2000 in the next 5 years or so.
But would it have happened if they didn't?? Or if Reed Custer stood in the way of Morris to the I-8??? I don't know..
I think this would be good for the NIC-10! It would give each team 5 division games, 2 crossovers and 2 noncom games. I believe it would help the conference overall level of play with the scheduling of tough non conference games.
Would be great for the NIC-10. I think if you could get the AD's at Hononegah, Boylan, Harlem to honestly answer they would much prefer this and the option to schedule some tough non-conference games. Do you think Boylan wants to play two bad RPS teams each year? Or would they rather go play Woodstock Marian or even say an Metea Valley? Plus, Kaneland and Dekalb both have solid all around athletic programs that can raise the bar of the level of play across the board for all sports.
right...it started when dixon and streator bailed out of the nib12 four years ago
