Genespage seem to be dying a slow death. Although they still have the same number of blue-hairs and overly optimistic fools that post on there, all of the boards on Genespage seem to be getting less and less active. It also seems like BDJ and Sixpack scoop them on everything now. Gene has to ban people for posting information that although accurate, came from here or the Junction.
Most people read this board to get their information. I just don't know of anything gene or steve has scooped that was not already on the pack. To me, it's officially official.
Until I saw them lie on the premium board.. I could put up with the censorship, but that went over the line..
Even if the free board dies, he will still have his "premium" board, which is where he gets his money from. As long as the free board lives, so to will Genespage.
It kind of works out for them- they have their private board to spew their sunshine and people with a brain and Webels will leave them alone to it. And Gene makes money.

I used to enjoy reading Steve's bones, but, because recruiting has been slow and there has been nothing to report, he has resorted to sunshine pumping and feigning that we're on the verge of getting several committments. He had me convinced that Brunetti was in the bag along with several others who have yet to pull the trigger.
Eventually I realized that his bones aren't "news" they're just more sunshine pumping. Rarely, if ever, does he report the facts. He just pumps up the recruits who are potential commitments so that the sheep go gaga over them as if they're all diamond in the rough 5 stars.

All too often news breaks, and its deemed not true until the Gods of Sunshine Gene, Rosebowl or Hack job David post it..then its their "exclusive"
The sheep seriously do not visit any other board and thats why its so hilarious when news finally breaks over there 6-8 hours later (they make 2nd look good) they all praise the leaders
for working so hard and making a great site. Its so pathetic...and he can get away with it because he had the monopoly on the msu crowd for so long, so many people are brainwashed.
The DeMaroon and Claradawgs of the world are people who would never leave that board..and I'd never want on BDJ.
On the junction, you dont get a lot of stupid questions asked like over there, the posters are more educated on sports for the most part..and aside from the all knowing sevendust, things are pretty good.
